Claims (5)

1. Tête de fausse barre pour installation de coulée continue de bandes d'acier qui s'engage dans la lingotière et s'associe, à sa partie supérieure, à un élément de refroidissement et de liaison (9a, 9b, 9c) qui comporte des parties saillantes (13) situées à une certaine distance les unes des autres et reliées avec adaptation des formes à la partie du bain qui se solidifie, caractérisée en ce que l'élément de refroidissement et de liaison (9a, 9b, 9c) est subdivisé, entre au moins deux parties saillantes (11), par des joints de retrait (18) hermétiquement isolés du bain.
2. Tête de fausse barre selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que l'élément de refroidissement et de liaison (9a, 9b, 9c) et une partie inférieure (8) sont reliés de manière à pouvoir se déplacer dans le sens de la longueur de leurs surfaces de contact pour réduire les joints de retrait (18).
3. Tête de fausse barre selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les joints de retrait (18) sont délimités et remplis sur toute leur largeur par une bourre réfractaire (19).
4. Tête de fausse barre selon la revendication 3, caractérisée en ce que la largeur des joint de retrait (18) est de 20 mm environ.
5. Tête de fausse barre selon une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que les joints de retrait (18) sont hermétiquement isolés du bain par un profil couvrant (20) en forme d'U.
