Definitions
- the invention relates to a gallery list for hanging objects, in particular pictures, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Gallery bars of the type mentioned at the outset are known, for example, from CH-A-655 900.
- a hollow profile rod was provided as the hanging system, which is provided at one end with a connection adapter for connection to a power rail and at the other end with a sliding hook the adapter are connected, are inserted into the profile rod and connected to the lighting fixture, which is also clamped to the profile rod.
- a connection adapter for connection to a power rail and at the other end with a sliding hook the adapter are connected
- the invention has for its object to provide a gallery bar, which also contains the electrical installation for the connection of lights, which is almost inconspicuous and allows aesthetic designs.
- This object is achieved according to the invention with the means specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.
- This arrangement makes it possible, using the low weight of such low-voltage lamps, to use the hanging element for the object at the same time to supply power to the lamp to be assigned to the object.
- the hanging element can be designed as a two-wire electrical conductor, the contact head correspondingly having two contacts that can be connected to the two parts of the contact rail.
- the lamp itself can be attached directly to the picture. It is particularly simple if the hanging element forms only one current-carrying wire so that two hanging elements are to be used for each object. It is particularly advantageous here to produce the hanging element from a rigid metal wire, which also serves as a supporting part for the lamp. This makes it possible, using the low weight of low-voltage luminaires, to attach the luminaires directly to the two hanging elements at a distance above the suspended objects.
- the lamp is kept at a distance from the wall of the building via at least two essentially rigid metal wires serving as current conductors, the ends of which are each connected to a hanging element.
- These metal wires branching off the hanging elements in turn serve both as supporting parts for the lamp and as electrical conductors for the power supply to the lamp.
- the particular advantage of this design is that practically only the illuminant with the associated reflector is visible in the room from the lights, while the connection to the wall via the steel wires is almost invisible. This results in a particularly appealing interior design, since the viewer only perceives the "light point" assigned to the object to be illuminated, since the associated connection to the building wall is practically invisible.
- additional wire-shaped supports made of the same wire material can be provided, which are supported either directly on the building wall or in a triangular shape on the hanging element or on the suspended object.
- the profile rail has two profile halves which can be electrically insulated from one another and which each consist at least partially of electrically conductive material.
- This configuration has the advantage of simple assembly, since one profile half can be screwed onto the wall and then the other, external profile half can be clipped on from the outside, for example via a snap connection, so that the fastening is not visible.
- the profile halves are made from an electrically conductive material, for example aluminum, since only a single profile contour then has to be designed with a correspondingly symmetrical design of the profile halves.
- the two profile halves are connected to one another via plug-shaped or bar-shaped holding bodies made of an insulating material.
- each profile half Since the cross-section of each profile half must be large for reasons of strength, there is a further advantage that there is no voltage drop caused by the profile halves serving as conductors in the usual room lengths. This makes it possible to connect the power supply to the end of a profile rail.
- a continuous strip made of an electrically insulating material is provided for the insulation of the profile halves against each other, which has a continuous groove-shaped recess for receiving a power cable.
- This arrangement allows the gallery bar to be used additionally as a "cable duct" for a 220 volt cable, so that in very long rooms a continuous gallery bar can be divided into several sections, each section being connected to its own low-voltage power supply, which in turn is fed via the 220 volt cable that runs through the gallery bar.
- the edges of the recess are resilient and at least partially cover the recess.
- this embodiment offers the possibility of the 220 volt cable "Clip" into the groove-shaped recess so that the cable is held in the bar and it is ensured that even with a defective cable, the low-voltage, not provided with an insulating jacket hanging elements can come into connection with the cable via the profile halves of the profile rail .
- At least one profile half is provided with a plurality of notches arranged at a distance from one another for inserting a contact head.
- a picture wall with several pictures 1, 2 and 3 is shown in a partial section through a room.
- a profile rail 6 is fastened to the building wall 5 in the ceiling area, on which the pictures in question are suspended via two suspension elements 7 each.
- the fastening means which are not shown in detail here, can be attached to the hanging elements 7 in a height-adjustable manner.
- Via a contact head 8 each connected to the hanging element 7, the structure of which will be described in more detail below, the hanging elements 7 are held in a form-fitting manner in the profile rail 6, so that the images can also be aligned in the longitudinal direction in a simple manner by simply moving the respective hanging elements 7 laterally can be.
- the profile rail 6 is either provided with a two-pole contact rail or, as will be described in more detail below, itself designed as a two-pole contact rail and connected to a low-voltage power supply 9.
- a low-voltage power supply 9 This is formed, for example, by a transformer, which optionally supplies a low voltage of, for example, 6 to 24 volts.
- the low-voltage power supply 9 is connected to the normal power supply, for example a 220 volt voltage, via a supply cable 10.
- the hanging elements 7 are now designed as an electrical conductor, for example in the form of a wire strand, but preferably also in the form of a resiliently rigid steel wire, the contact head 8 being designed such that it can be optionally with one pole and the other pole of the profile rail 6 in Connection is established This creates a power supply for lights 11, 12 or 13 for each hanging, which will be described in more detail below.
- the hanging elements 7 are without, but can also be designed with an insulating jacket.
- the lamp 11 is shown in a side view in FIG. 2.
- the lamp 11 consists, for example, of a commercially available low-voltage lamp with an integrated reflector and is connected to the two hanging elements 7 of FIG. 1 via two spring-stiff steel wires 15 designed as electrical conductors.
- the wires 15 thus form at the same time formed as electrical conductors "hanging elements" for the lamp 11, via which it is connected to the profile rail 6 serving as a contact rail.
- the free ends of the wires 15 are attached to the hanging elements 7 by means of corresponding holding elements 16, which a clamp or screw connection on the hanging elements 7 are slidably fixed, so that an exact adjustment of the lamp 11 with respect to the image 1 to be illuminated is possible.
- a spring-stiff wire for example a steel wire
- a resiliently rigid wire as a carrier element for the lamp 11 allows a variety of arbitrary design options when using a plurality of interconnected wires, the shape being able to be designed using different, mutually influencing bending forces.
- the hanging acc. the line III-III shows an embodiment in which the two images 2 and 3 are suspended together on two hanging elements 7 on the profile rail 6.
- the hanging elements 7 are again designed as electrical conductors, and each image can be assigned its own lamp 12 or 13 without an additional supply line.
- the lamp 12 is directly connected to the hanging elements 7, while the lamp 13 is attached to the frame of the picture 3, the power supply via corresponding supply lines 16 'from the hanging elements 7 on the back of the Image is tapped.
- the arrangement acc. Fig. 3 also shows the possibility to lay the profile rail 6 in the ceiling area in the same way as is known for curtain rails.
- a profile rail 6 is shown on a larger scale in section.
- This consists essentially of two profile halves 18 'and 18' ', which are extruded from aluminum, for example, and are therefore electrically conductive.
- the two profile halves 18 'and 18 "are connected to one another via a plurality of stopper-like holding bodies 19 made of an insulating material and distributed over the length of the profile rail, the profile rail 6 being firmly screwed to the building wall via the holding bodies 19 as a whole.
- a corresponding hole 20 in the wall side Profile half 18 ' in which a corresponding approach engages on the holding body 19, ensures that the two profile halves are mutually insulated from one another without any problems
- the two profile halves 18 'and 18' ' which form the profile rail 6 are symmetrical, so that it is possible to work with only one profile shape.
- the profile shape is chosen so that in the assembled state, as shown in Fig. 5, both on the top and on the bottom a continuous groove 21 is formed in the manner of a hammer head groove.
- a contact head 8, which is fastened to the free end of the hanging element 7, is now inserted into the groove 21 from the end face or via notches 22 in the wall-side profile half 18 ', which are distributed at a distance over the length.
- the contact head 8 here consists of an insulating body 24, in which a support nipple 25 connected to the hanging element 7 and made of electrically conductive material is firmly connected.
- each profile half forms a phase of the profile rail 6 forming the electrical power supply, this ensures that a hanging element 7 can only be connected to one phase of the power supply. Since the contact head 8 is otherwise symmetrical, one of the profile halves can thus be brought into an electrically conductive connection with the hanging element either by appropriate alignment of the insulating body 24.
- Fig. 5 shows a modification in which the rails instead of plug-shaped holding bodies are held by a continuous strip 26 made of an electrically insulating material.
- the strip 26 has a continuous groove-shaped recess 27 which is provided in the edge region with resilient edge lips 28 directed inwards.
- the recess 27 serves here as a cable duct through which a cable 29 with, for example, 220 volt voltage can be guided in electrically sound insulation with respect to the low-voltage side formed by the profile halves 18 'and 18' '.
- a cable 29 with, for example, 220 volt voltage
- Each subsequent low voltage power supply is then separately connected to the cable 29.
- the structure otherwise corresponds to the structure of the profile rail described with reference to FIG. 5.
- Fig. 6 the contact head 8 of a hanging element 7 is shown again in two views, to illustrate how different phases of the power supply can be tapped from the profile rail 6 by different hooking into the profile rail 6.
- the invention is not limited to the illustrated and described embodiment of the profile rail and the associated hanging elements.
- the profile rail 6 in one piece from a plastic, in which case two contact rails made of metal need to be incorporated in the area of the recess 21 in the form of a hammer head groove.
- the profile rails 6 are expediently provided with plug contacts at least at one end, so that the electrical connection to the power supply, but also to a subsequent profile rail, can be made by simply plugging them together.
- Appropriate trained corner connectors are appropriate for the area of room corners.
