Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Sprenggeschoß zur Split­ tererzeugung.
Bekannte Sprenggeschosse, bzw. Gefechtsköpfe sind zur Ge­ währleistung der Abschußfestigkeit im Heckbereich relativ dickwandig ausgebildet. Dies führt bei Sprengzerlegung zu einer gewissen Splittergröße, bzw. zu einer sehr unter­ schiedlichen Splittercharakteristik -von Geschoßhülle und Geschoßboden.
Um derartige Nachteile zu vermeiden, wird erfindungsgemäß ein Splittergeschoß, bzw. ein Gefechtskopf vorgeschlagen, das/der einen Geschoßboden von etwa der gleichen Stärke wie die Geschoßhülle aufweist und daher eine gleichmäßigere Splittercharakteristik besitzt. Die Wandstärkenverminderung im Geschoßheckbereich wird unter Reduzierung der Empfind­ lichkeit gegen radiale Gasdruckbeaufschlagung dadurch er­ reicht, daß die Geschoßhülle 12 im Heckbereich bis an den Geschoßboden 38 reichend zylindrisch ausgebildet, das Füh­ rungsband 40 in direkter Nähe zum Geschoßboden 38 ange­ ordnet und der Geschoßboden 38 kalottenförmig nach außen ausgewölbt ist.
