- the gas leaving this injector entrains combustion air towards the chamber 7 and the gas-air mixture can be ignited by a spark gushing between the electrodes 12 and 13 , this spark is introduced by a piezo generator 14 electric.
- the chamber 7 contains on the side of the intake passage 9 a wick 15 of ceramic fiber arranged transversely in this chamber near the base of the flame and on the path of the air-gas mixture. At least some of these fibers are frayed. As a result, if the wind pushes the flame towards the bottom of the combustion chamber, which could extinguish it, these fibers are first immersed in the ignited gas and brought to very high temperatures, so that the incandescent fibers immediately rekindle the flame. Furthermore, this wick 15 constitutes an obstacle which lowers the speed of flow of the gas in the chamber 7 .
- the length of the chamber 7 , taken in the direction of passage of the air-gas mixture is at least equal to the smallest width of this chamber taken transversely relative to said direction of passage of the mixture.

- the plates 18 are pivoted in an anti-clockwise direction. This pivoting causes an opening of the valve 6 by action on the lever 25 , the tilting of the cap 29 to release the opening 30 and the actuation of the piezoelectric generator 14 to cause the ignition spark between the electrodes 12 and 13 .
- the generator 14 is provided at its upper end with a contact 35 against which comes to bear a spring 36 housed in a bore in the body 1 and which is connected to the electrode 13 to ensure passage ignition current. Thanks to this arrangement, the problems usually encountered when the generator is connected by an external wire welded to the ignition electrode are avoided, since this wire is fragile and is easily broken.

- one or more ceramic elements such as element 15 in FIG. 1, could also be placed in the combustion chamber 7 .
- the part 50 shown in FIG. 6 could be replaced by a fine lattice which would fulfill the same purpose, namely to slow down the speed of the gas mixture.
- This trellis could consist of ceramic fibers which would play the same role as the wick 15 of FIG. 1 and, in this case, it goes without saying that the body 43 should be given up.
