- the air box 12 is closed at the bottom by a bottom and connected to the grinding chamber 14 formed within the housing 1 by a nozzle ring 15.
- a classifier 16 is arranged on the housing 1, into which a dust discharge line 17 projects. Hot air is introduced into the air box 12 as drying and conveying gas through the air supply connection 13. The air flows through the nozzle ring 15 into the grinding chamber 14, takes the coal dust generated by the grinding rollers 8 on the grinding bowl 3 with it and discharges it via the classifier 16 through the dust outlet line 17.
- the nozzle ring 15 and the grinding bowl 3 can be seen in detail in FIGS. 2 to 4. Then the side walls of the grinding bowl segments 7 enclose an angle of 30 degrees, so that twelve such grinding bowl segments 7 form the grinding track.

- the blades 20 are curved in the direction of rotation of the grinding bowl 3 and have an angle of 90 degrees on the inflow side and an angle of 30 degrees to the horizontal on the outflow side.
