Abstract

The appliance has a cover rail (6) attached to the top edge of the appliance housing (2) projecting forwards beyond its front face (4), its free end being bent through 90 degrees and then bent back on itself. The 90 degree bent edge (7) is covered by a L shaped rail (11) flush with the front edge face (13) of the worktop (9) fitted across the appliance niche, for compensating height tolerances without deformation of the cover rail (6). Pref. the free edge of the L shaped rail (11) is hooked (12) to fit around the 90 degree bent edge of the cover rail (6).
