Description

La présente invention est relative à un dispositif à démaquiller.
L'opération de démaquillage s'effectue habituellement en deux étapes consistant à appliquer sur la zone à démaquiller successivement deux produits, à savoir, généralement, un lait démaquillant puis une lotion.
Pour appliquer chacun de ces produits, on utilise un dispositif à démaquiller, généralement en forme de disque circulaire, constitué d'une couche de matériau absorbant, notamment du coton, ou formé par empilage de couches absorbantes de structures différentes, comme décrit par exemple dans US-A-3 674 617.
Or il s'avère, dans la pratique, que les dispositifs à démaquiller connus, par suite de la quantité de matériau absorbant utilisée, absorbent des quantités de produits démaquillants supérieures aux quantités nécessaires pour assurer un bon démaquillage. Il en résulte un gaspillage de produits démaquillants et un surcoût inutile du dispositif à démaquiller par suite de la présence d'une quantité inutilement élevée de matériau absorbant.
De plus, il est nécessaire d'utiliser successivement deux dispositifs à démaquiller pour appliquer successivement les produits démaquillants tels qu'un lait et une lotion.
La présente invention se propose de réaliser un dispositif à démaquiller qui, tout en n'utilisant qu'une quantité de matériau absorbant comparable à celle des dispositifs traditionnels, permet d'appliquer successivement deux produits démaquillants différents et ce, sans que le produit en cours d'application ne puisse atteindre les doigts de l'utilisateur.
L'invention a pour objet l'utilisation pour le démaquillage d'un dispositif à démaquiller, comportant une couche d'arrêt centrale hydrophobe et/ou étanche vis-à-vis du produit à démaquiller et de part et d'autre de laquelle adhèrent deux couches de matériau absorbant.
L'invention a encore pour objet l'utilisation pour le démaquillage d'un dispositif à démaquiller comportant deux couches de matériau absorbant, de préférence de même épaisseur, disposées de part et d'autre d'une mince couche d'arrêt hydrophobe et/ou étanche vis-à-vis du produit démaquillant, lesdites couches de matériau absorbant et/ou ladite couche d'arrêt étant constituées de ou contenant des substances thermofusibles et étant solidarisées mutuellement par apport de chaleur et sous pression.
Le matériau absorbant utilisé est de préférence du coton peigné ou cardé et peut contenir, en particulier dans le cas où la couche d'arrêt ne comporte pas de substances thermofusibles, des fibres de liaison thermofusibles telles que par exemple des fibres de viscose, d'acétate, de PVC, de polyester ou de polyamide.
La couche d'arrêt peut être constituée par une pellicule formée d'une ou plusieurs matières plastiques souples, telles que par exemple du polyéthylène, du polypropylène ou du polyester.
La couche d'arrêt peut également comprendre des additifs comprenant des radicaux hydroxyles et/ou carboxyliques permettant d'améliorer les propriétés d'adhésion en abaissant la température de fusion des substances constitutives de la couche d'arrêt. On peut en particulier utiliser des copolymères d'éthylène/acétate de vynile (EVA) ou des dérivés acryliques tels que des polyesters acryliques.
La couche d'arrêt peut également être réalisée en papier, en particulier en papier contenant des substances thermofusibles, par exemple un papier couché polymère, contenant du polyéthylène ou encore en matériau hydrophobe non tissé, par exemple à base de et/ou contenant des fibres de polypropylène.
La couche d'arrêt présente avantageusement une épaisseur inférieure à 50 µm et de préférence comprise entre 8 et 25 µm.
Ainsi l'épaisseur totale du dispositif à démaquiller réalisé selon l'invention est du même ordre que celle des dispositifs à démaquiller conventionnels.
Les dispositifs à démaquiller selon l'invention peuvent présenter une section quelconque et être par exemple en forme de disque comme les dispositifs conventionnels, par exemple de l'ordre de 60mm de diamètre.
Un dispositif à démaquiller selon l'invention en forme de disque est illustré sur le dessin annexé et l'on y voit une mince couche d'arrêt centrale 1 sur laquelle sont adhérisées, de part et d'autre, deux couches de matériau absorbant 2,3 en coton peigné ou cardé.
Pour réaliser le dispositif à démaquiller selon l'invention, on fait passer, dans un mode de réalisation préféré trois nappes correspondant respectivement aux couches 1, 2 et 3 dans un courant d'air chaud, par exemple à 200 ° C, puis on lamine l'ensemble dans une calandre chauffante. On procède alors au découpage des dispositifs à démaquiller selon la forme désirée.
Le dispositif à démaquiller selon l'invention est d'un maniement particulièrement simple dans la mesure où l'utilisateur peut appliquer sur l'une des faces constituées de matériau absorbant un premier produit démaquillant, par exemple un lait démaquillant et l'appliquer sur la zone à démaquiller, en tenant le dispositif par la couche absorbante opposée, qui fait alors office de couche de préhension. Compte tenu des propriétés de la couche d'arrêt, le produit démaquillant ne peut parvenir jusqu'aux doigts de l'utilisateur.
Une fois le premier produit démaquillant appliqué, il suffit de retourner le dispositif et d'appliquer de la même manière sur la zone à démaquiller le second produit démaquillant, notamment une lotion mise en place sur la couche absorbante opposée. Au cours de cette application du deuxième produit démaquillant, ce dernier, du fait de la présence de la couche d'arrêt ne peut non plus parvenir aux doigts de l'utilisateur.
L'invention permet ainsi de réaliser un dispositif à démaquiller double-face, simple et économique à fabriquer, et économique à l'utilisation puisque à lui seul, il permet de remplacer deux dispositifs à démaquiller traditionnels.
De plus, la couche d'arrêt sur laquelle sont adhérisées les couches absorbantes assure une meilleure cohésion du matériau des couches absorbantes.

Claims (3)

  1. Utilisation pour le démaquillage d'un dispositif à démaquiller comportant une couche d'arrêt centrale (1) hydrophobe et/ou étanche vis-à-vis du produit à démaquiller et de part et d'autre de laquelle adhèrent deux couches (2,3) de matériau absorbant.
  2. Utilisation pour le démaquillage d'un dispositif à démaquiller comportant deux couches (2,3) de matériau absorbant, de préférence de même épaisseur, disposées de part et d'autre d'une mince couche d'arrêt (1) hydrophobe et/ou étanche vis-à-vis du produit démaquillant, lesdites couches de matériau absorbant (2,3) et/ou ladite couche d'arrêt (1) étant constituées de ou contenant des substances thermofusibles et étant solidarisées mutuellement par apport de chaleur et sous pression.
  3. Utilisation selon la revendication 2, caractérisée par le fait que la couche d'arrêt (1) présente une épaisseur inférieure à 50 µm, et de préférence comprise entre 8 et 25 µm.
