Abstract

Concerned are a method and device for the production of shaped parts from a non-flowable mixture of chip or fibre materials and heat-curable binders. In the case of this method, part of the heat energy required for curing is provided by hot gases or vapours, which are introduced into the mixture during pressing. The hot gases or vapours are to be introduced into the mixture at right angles to the direction of pressing.

Claims (5)
