Abstract

La baguette d'étanchéité profilée présente dans sa section un certain nombre de rainures (8) de mêmes dimensions ainsi qu'une série de canaux (9, 10). Ces canaux ont cependant des sections différentes. Les canaux extérieurs (9) ont la forme d'un cône avec une pointe arrondie (91) et une extrémité incurvée (92) opposée . Les canaux intérieurs (10) ont la forme d'un cercle dont une partie de la circonférence est toutefois remplacée par une section rectiligne (101). La baguette profilée comporte également, sur son côté (5) destiné à être mis au contact d'une autre baguette identique, deux prolongements de dimensions croissantes (12) formant des angles saillants (14). Du fait de la configuration particulière de ces sections, il se forme entre les canaux (9, 10) des sections (11) particulièrement résistantes à la compression et entre les canaux extérieurs (9) et les côtés (6) de la baguette profilée qui bordent ces canaux, des régions cornières résistantes (13) qui assurent de remarquables conditions d'étanchéité aux infiltrations d'eau.
