Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roving machine of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
  • a roving machine is known in which the individual units i.e. the drafting systems, the wings, the bobbins, the bobbin carriages, etc. of all spinning units are driven by one motor each.
  • This flyer has the advantage over conventional roving machines that the drive motors can be adapted to the movement conditions of the associated functional units with regard to operating power, speed range or the like, which considerably simplifies the control and also the design of the gear trains.
  • this machine version also has the disadvantage that in the event of a malfunction or failure of only one individual unit and / or when changing the bobbin, the entire machine with all drives must be switched off.
  • the invention has for its object to largely avoid standstills of the entire roving machine when the spinning process in individual spinning units is interrupted.
  • the roving machine is subdivided into sections that are operable independently of one another, with the functional units of the same type contained in each section being assigned a separate drive which can be controlled independently as a function of the other drives of the section in question. All drives are advantageously connected to a master computer superordinate to the sections, and each section can have its own electronic control unit, if applicable.
  • the invention brings i.a. the advantage that the individual sections of the roving machine can work autonomously, since they are linked to an overall machine only by the central control computer. If a unit in a spinning unit malfunctions, only the associated section has to be switched off or shut down, all spinning units of the other sections being able to continue working normally. Over longer operating times, this results in a significant reduction in dead times and a corresponding increase in the overall performance of the machine.
  • the additional effort caused by the increased number of drive motors is compensated for by simplifying the gear trains and by improving the control behavior of the individual units.
  • the energy consumption is reduced by the reduced number of mechanical assemblies and the stopping of the functional units in sections.
  • each section SE1 to SEn contains a predetermined number of spinning units S1 to S12, each spinning unit S1 to S12 having a spinning wing SF, at least one spool SP and a drafting system with rollers SW1, SW2 and SW3.
  • the coils SP of each section SE1, SE2 and SEn are each arranged side by side on a common coil carriage SPW.
  • the individual units SF, SP, SW1, SW2 and SW3 of the first spinning unit S1 of the first section SE1 are identified by hatching in FIG. 1.
  • the individual units SF, SP, SW1, SW2 and SW3 for the spinning units S1 to S12 of each section SE1 to SEn are each driven together by a drive motor A11 to A16 or A21 to A26 or An1 to An6.
  • a drive motor A13 or A23 or An3 is assigned to each coil carriage SPW of each section SE1 to SEn.
  • the drive motor A11 thus drives the spinning wings SF of all spinning units S1 to S12 of section SE1.
  • the spools SP and the drafting rollers SW1, SW2 and SW3 of section SE1 are each jointly driven by the associated drive motors A12, A14, A15, A16.
  • each section SE1 to SEn has its own operating computer B1 to Bn, from which the drive motors A11 to A16 ... An1 to An6 are controlled.
  • the operating computers B1 to Bn are connected to a common master computer LR.
  • This structure described can be easily adapted to the conditions on the prespinning machine in accordance with the number of spinning units and their units to be driven.
  • the operating computers B1 to Bn calculate the necessary textile-technological values for the spinning units of each section and determine the respective electrical actuating variables for the drive motors.
  • the operating computers B1 to Bn use appropriate sensors on the spinning units or their assemblies to record, for example, the start and end of the bobbin build-up, the causes of necessary process corrections, such as Irregularities in the sliver run, and process interruptions, such as broken sliver or sliver, and then determine the necessary manipulated variables in accordance with the spinning laws. They also control the resumption of the process after an interruption.
  • the activity of the operating computers B1 to Bn is coordinated by the control computer LR, into which the necessary textile-technological output data for the respective spinning process are entered manually or by means of a data carrier.
  • the master computer LR processes this data and forwards command data or signals to the computers B1 to Bn. Corrections and interventions by the operating personnel are also carried out via the control computer LR, which can also be equipped with a higher level of competence in order to take on additional tasks of the operating computers B1 to Bn. In this case, simple control units can be used instead of the operating computers B1 to Bn.
  • each section contains its own frame GB, the side walls of which can be arranged close to one another and fastened to one another by suitable connecting means, as is shown for the right side wall of the middle section SEn.
  • each frame GB there is a coil carriage SPW, which carries the coils SPn of this section, driven by the common motor An2, and moves vertically in guides, not shown, for executing the laying movement of the drive motor An3 via a suitable gear.
  • a support beam TG is also fastened, on which the spinning wings SF of the section are mounted, which are driven together by the drive motor An1 via the gear train shown in broken lines.
  • the drafting system of each spinning unit contains three roller pairs SW1, SW2 and SW3, the individual roller pairs SW1, SW2 and SW3 of all spinning units S1 to S12 of Sekton SEn being driven by motors An4, An5 and An6, respectively. The same applies to the neighboring sections.
  • the invention enables optimal adaptation of the roving machines to local conditions as well as to changing power requirements.
  • the individual sections can be arranged not only next to one another, but also at an angle to one another and / or arranged in an island or in a circle, in order to take into account special operational or spatial conditions.
  • existing machines can easily be upgraded to higher performance Retrofit by simply attaching one or more sections and connecting their operating controls to the host computer if required.
