- An output shaft driven by the crankshaft for the clutch runs - seen in the vertical direction of the vehicle - below the crankshaft, parallel to it. It is driven by the crankshaft via a gear transmission which is arranged in a central plane between the two crankshaft ends.
- the output shaft also drives the gear pumps and the oil pumps located in the engine crankcase.

- the alternator 6 is provided with an intermediate shaft 38 which is arranged coaxially and in a rotationally fixed manner with respect to the output shaft 25 and via one of the latter outgoing belt drive 39 driven.
