Claims (14)
- Vorrichtung für die thermische Behandlung von Material umfassend:eine im wesentlichen zylindrische Außentrommel (102), die um eine im wesentlichen horizontale Achse drehbar ist und ein erstes und zweites Ende aufweist;eine im wesentlichen zylindrische Innentrommel (134), die in dem Inneren der Außentrommel angeordnet und integral damit befestigt ist, um damit zu rotieren, und ein erstes und zweites Ende aufweist;einen Einlaßkanal (124), der für das Einströmen von Material in das erste Ende der Außentrommel (102) angeordnet ist;einen Auslaßkanal (128), der zum Entfernen von Material von dem zweiten Ende der Außentrommel (102) angeordnet ist;einen Transportkanal (172,173), der zum Transportieren von Material von dem zweiten Ende der Außentrommel zu dem ersten Ende der Innentrommel angebracht ist;eine erste frei rotierbare Helix (166), die in und auf der inneren Oberfläche der Unterseite der Außentrommel (102) angeordnet ist und die Innentrommel (134) umgibt, wobei sie mit ihrer Achse im wesentlichen parallel zu der Achse der Außentrommel liegt und schraubenförmig gewunden ist, um Material von dem ersten Ende zu dem zweiten Ende der Außentrommel zu fördern;eine zweite frei rotierbare Helix (168), die in und auf der inneren Oberfläche der Unterseite der Innentrommel (134) angeordnet ist und schraubenförmig gewunden ist, um Material von dem ersten Ende zu dem zweiten Ende der Innentrommel zu fördern; undeine Heizeinrichtung (150), die zum Heizen der Außentrommel (102) angeordnet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, bei der die Enden der Innentrommel (134) kurz vor den Enden der Außentrommel (102) enden.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei der der Transportkanal perforiert ist, um kleinere Materialpartikel auszufiltern und größere Materialpartikel zur Innentrommel (134) zu fördern.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei der der Transportkanal eine innerhalb der äußeren Trommel (102) angebrachte Schaufel (172) mit einer Einlaßöffnung zwischen dem zweiten Ende der Außentrommel (102) und dem ersten Ende der Innentrommel (134) und benachbart der inneren Oberfläche der Außentrommel ist, wobei die Schaufel eine Auslaßöffnung in das Innere der Innentrommel hat und perforiert ist, um kleinere Materialpartikel auszufiltern und größere Materialpartikel zur Innentrommel zu fördern.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, bei der der Auslaßkanal (128) eine Schaufel umfaßt, die innerhalb der Außentrommel (102) angebracht ist und eine Partikel-Größen-Sortiereinrichtung einschließt, die angeordnet ist kleinere Partikel als von einer vorbestimmten Größe zu der Schaufel durchzulassen, aber größere Partikel auszuschließen, wobei die zweite Schaufel die Verbindung mit dem Auslaßkanal bildet.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, umfassend:eine koaxiale, zylindrische Kühlkammer, die an vorderen und hinteren Enden der Außentrommel angebracht ist, um mit dieser zu rotieren, undeinen vom Auslaßkanal umfaßten Festgut-Kanal (674), der die Verbindung zwischen dem Inneren der Außentrommel und dem Inneren der Rückseite einer der Kühlkammern bildet.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei der die Außentrommel (102) eine zentrale Öffnung an jedem Ende hat,
wobei sich der Einlaßkanal (124) durch die zentrale Öffnung in dem ersten Ende hindurch und der Auslaßkanal (128) durch die zentrale Öffnung in dem zweiten Ende hindurch erstreckt. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, die eine Mehrzahl frei beweglicher Träger in der Außentrommel umfaßt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 8, bei der sich die Träger über den Transportkanal von der Außentrommel zu der Innentrommel bewegen können.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche zum thermischen Behandeln von Ausgangs- bzw. Rohstoffen, die Festkörper und Flüssigkeiten enthalten,bei der die Außentrommel (602) einen Heizabschnitt und einen koaxialen Kühlabschnitt an vorderen und hinteren Enden des Heizabschnittes einschließen;wobei der Einlaßkanal einen koaxialen Rohstoffkanal (624A) umfaßt, der sich durch den vorderen Kühlabschnitt hindurch erstreckt, um den Heizabschnitt mit Rohstoffen zu versorgen,wobei die erste Helix einen Rohstoff-Förderer (766) in dem Heizabschnitt umfaßt, um den Rohstoff durch den Heizabschnitt zur Hitze-Behandlung zu bewegen, um Flüssigkeiten von Festkörpern zu trennen; und wobei die Vorrichtung weiterhin ein koaxialen Kanal für behandeltes Material umfaßt, der sich von dem Heizabschnitt bis zu dem hinteren Kühlabschnitt zum Kühlen und zum Entfernen von thermisch behandelten Produkten aus der Trommel erstreckt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 10, die eine Drehdichtung umfaßt, die um jeden Rohstoffkanal und jeden Kanal für behandeltes Material herum abdichtet, um eine Verbindung des Inneren des Kühlabschnittes mit der Umgebung der Vorrichtung zu verhindern.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 10 oder 11, die eine Öffnung zwischen dem Heizabschnitt und dem Kühlabschnitt zum Durchlassen von gasförmigen Produkten des hitzebehandelten Rohstoffes in den Kühlabschnitt zum Kühlen der gasförmigen Produkte in dem Kühlsystem umfaßt.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 10, 11 oder 12, die eine Öffnung zwischen dem Heizabschnitt und dem Kühlabschnitt zum Durchlassen von festen Produkten des hitzebehandelten Rohstoffes in den Kühlabschnitt zum Kühlen der festen Produkte in dem Kühlabschnitt umfaßt.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 13, die weiterhin eine Dampfwendel um den Kühlabschnitt herum umfaßt, die zum Empfangen von Gasen aus dem Heizabschnitt, zum Kondensieren der Gase und zum Beseitigen der Kondensate außerhalb der Vorrichtung geschaltet ist.
