Definitions

  • the invention relates to a high-pressure plunger pump, preferably for working pressures above 2,000 bar, with a housing, a pump head connected to the housing, a plunger floating in a sleeve and a pressure and suction valve arranged coaxially to the longitudinal axis of the sleeve, the sleeve is supported at its end facing the plunger head on a two-part insert body receiving the suction valve and is enclosed by a suction chamber arranged in the housing of the pump.
  • a high-pressure plunger pump of this type is known (DE 40 01 335 C1), in which the pump head is formed in two parts, has a large overall height and almost completely accommodates the insert body in a chamber, which is through the plane of impact between the housing and the pump head and through the joint plane extends between the two pump head parts.
  • both abutment levels there is a risk that leakage liquid will flow outwards under the effect of the high working pressure of the pumped medium, especially since the abutment or connection surface between the two parts of the insert body is forward or upward relative to the abutment or connection level between the pump head parts is offset.
  • the pump head Since the pressure valve and the suction valve are arranged in the pump head in the known embodiment, the pump head is loaded with the load changes occurring during the pressure stroke and the suction stroke and its service life is reduced.
  • the invention has for its object to design a high pressure pump of the type mentioned so that the pump head is free of load changes during operation of the pump and the leakage liquid exiting at the connecting or abutting surface of the parts of the insert body flows back into the suction chamber of the pump.
  • the two-part insert body is arranged in the upper part of the housing, the seat of the pressure valve is essentially in the parting plane or next to the parting plane between the housing and the pump head, the pump head is integrally formed, plate-shaped, and Overall height of the pump head is greater than the length of the pressure valve body.
  • the pump head is plate-shaped, that is to say of a low overall height, since the pump head only has to accommodate the pressure valve body or bodies and the channel leading to the consumer. The overall height of the pump head therefore only needs to be a little larger than the length of the pressure valve body or the pressure valve body.
  • the part of the insert body facing the pump head has a central delivery channel and, on both end faces, concentrically arranged seating surfaces for the pressure valve or for the suction valve.
  • the material consumption for the pump head is low. Since all functional parts of the pump are designed in a structurally simple manner, there are also short processing times.
  • the high-pressure plunger pump shown consists essentially of a pump housing 1, a pump head 2 connected to the pump housing by screws 2a, a suction valve 4 and pressure valve 5 arranged coaxially to the cylinder axis 3, and a sleeve 7 floating on the plunger 6, in the cylindrical bore 8 of which a The sliding bush 9, which extends over the entire length of the sleeve 7, moves the plunger 6 back and forth.
  • a part 12 of a two-part insert body is supported on the end face 10 of the sliding bush 9 and on the end face 11 of the sleeve 7, the part 13 of which is provided with a seat surface 14 for the suction valve body 15 and with a seat surface 16 for the pressure valve body 17.
  • the part 13 of the insert body facing the pump head 2 has a central delivery channel 18.
  • the seat surfaces 14, 16 for the suction valve 4 and for the pressure valve 5 are arranged on both end faces concentrically with this delivery channel. These seat surfaces are formed by projections 19, 20, which extend into a recess 21 of the pump head or into a recess 22 of the part 12 of the insert body.
  • the suction valve 4 is designed as a plate valve.
  • the plate-shaped suction valve body 15 and the associated spring 23 are arranged in the recess 22 of the part 12 of the insert body.
  • the portion 13 of the insert body facing the pump head 2 has a smaller diameter than the portion 12, so that an annular space 24 results above the portion 12, from which suction channels 25 extend through part of the housing, which into the suction space 26 Open the pump, which surrounds the sleeve 7.
  • the suction channels 25 start from an end face 27 which delimits the annular space 24 on one side.
  • the part 13 of the insert body has suction channels 28 which lead to the seat 14 of the suction valve. These suction channels 28 start from the outer edge 29 of the part 13, the outer edge 29 being adjacent to the pump head 2. The suction channels extend obliquely inwards from the outer edge.
  • a sealing sleeve 29a is provided in this area so that no leakage liquid can escape in the area of the abutting surface between the sleeve 7 and the part 12 of the insert body. In the area of the connecting and abutting surface between the parts 13 and 12, leakage liquid escapes into the annular space 24 and can flow through the suction channels 25 into the suction space 26.
  • Reference number 31 is assigned to the central delivery channel in part 12 of the insert body.
