Definitions

  • the invention relates to a spinning device, in particular a ring spinning machine, for winding a thread or the like. on a sleeve, which sits on a spindle shaft with an underwind crown, the spindle shaft being assigned to a whorl, the whorl surrounds a sliding sleeve with an inner flange and an outer flange, on which at least one projection of an actuating member strikes and the sliding sleeve against the force of an between the inner flange and a ring edge of the whorl spring is moved in such a way that the underwind crown either moves out of or into a receiving trough above the inner flange.
  • This generic spinning device is described in EP-A-0 462 467.
  • a winding is built up on a sleeve by spinning or twisting.
  • this is done by lifting and lowering a ring bench with a spinning ring and rotor, the rotor serving to guide a thread from, for example, a drafting device to the sleeve.
  • the sleeve rotates in the spinning position, which is why the sleeve on a spindle shaft sits, which is usually in a whorl, which is set in rotation by a drive belt.
  • a cop i.e. a sleeve is provided with a finished winding
  • this process is completed by a phase of spinning. Top, back and under turns are carried out during spinning.
  • the thread is guided below the underwind crown, which is located below the sleeve. There, the thread is wrapped around the spindle shaft in a few turns. Only then is the finished cop pulled off the spindle shaft during so-called doffing, whereby the thread breaks. However, the thread still runs between the underwind area and the runner.
  • the ring bench When piecing, the ring bench is then raised again so that the thread overlaps the underwind crown and corresponding windings can be placed on a new sleeve again.
  • the thread is usually held in place when the ring rail is raised. This is done by a sliding sleeve, which follows the lifting movement of the ring bench and lifts the thread in the underwind area towards the ring crown and presses against this ring crown.
  • a sliding sleeve Such a device is shown for example in EP-A 0 292 856.
  • a fixing sleeve is formed in its lower part, that is to say away from the underwind crown, in such a way that it can spread out during the rotation of the spindle shaft due to the centrifugal force then prevailing.
  • the expandable part engages in an essentially rotationally symmetrical control element for the fixing sleeve which is stuck on the spindle shaft.
  • the expandable part of the fixing sleeve and the area of the control member which is in engagement with it are mutually designed such that the fixing sleeve must move downward, due to the rotation-related spreading, into its open position while it is moving through the return deformation given when the spindle shaft is at a standstill moved upwards into the closed, ie working position.
  • the activity of this fixing sleeve therefore essentially depends on the rotation, the spindle shaft rovation being considerably reduced, especially when spinning off.
  • the present invention has for its object to make these signs of wear harmless.
  • a wearable material that meets the highest requirements can now be selected for the wear ring. This happens regardless of the clamping sleeve material.
  • the choice of material should also take into account that the projections of the ring bench should be exposed to the least possible wear. The choice of material is to be made in such a way that the wear is always carried by the wear ring.
  • the wear ring should be designed so that it is easier to assemble and disassemble.
  • a clip-on wear ring should be selected in the preferred embodiment. This means that this wear ring encircles the outer flange, an annular disc of the wear ring resting on the surface of the outer flange. The projections of the ring bench then also hit this ring disk. Following the washer, the wear ring engages around the outer flange and engages under it with a clip edge.
  • the clip edge is designed in such a way that when the wear ring is pushed onto the outer flange it deviates slightly to the outside and then snaps around this lower edge after the lower edge of the outer flange has been exceeded.
  • the wear ring If the wear ring is worn, it can be cut open or removed with pliers and replaced with a new one.
  • a spindle shaft 1 is indicated by a spinning station, onto which a sleeve 2 is slipped, which is used to hold yarn turns 3.
  • These yarn turns 3 originate from a thread, not shown in more detail, which is drawn off, for example, from a drafting system and is guided by a rotor 4.
  • the rotor 4 moves on a spinning ring 5.
  • the spinning ring 5 is in turn seated on a ring frame 6.
  • the spindle shaft 1 is inserted in a whorl 7, which has a convex surface 8 for engaging a drive belt, not shown in detail.
  • a drive belt not shown in detail.
  • the whorl 7 and thus also the spindle shaft 1 and the sleeve 2 are set in rotation, the yarn being wound onto the sleeve 2 in yarn turns 3.
  • This inner flange 12 forms, with an annular wall 13 of the sliding sleeve 9, a receiving trough 14, in which, after lifting the sliding sleeve 9 in the direction x, a crown of underwind 15 can retract, which surrounds the spindle shaft 1.
  • the sliding sleeve 9 surrounds an outer flange 16, on which a wear ring 17 is placed.
  • This wear ring 17 has an inner annular recess 18 which is delimited on the one hand by an annular disk 19 and on the other hand by a clip edge 20.
  • the clip edge 20 is designed such that the wear ring 17 is placed on the outer flange 16, the clip edge 20 escaping outwards. After reaching over the outer flange 16, the clip edge 20 snaps around the outer flange 16 and engages under it.
  • the ring frame is normally at the level of the sleeve 2 and is moved up and down along the sleeve 2, the sleeve 2 rotating together with the spindle shaft 1 and also the sliding sleeve 9. The rotation takes place around a neck bearing, not shown.
  • the sliding sleeve 9 is in the position of use shown in FIG. 2, the sliding sleeve 9 being pressed against the underwind crown 15 by the helical spring 10.
  • the underwind crown 15 is located in the receiving trough 14 and holds the piecing thread there.
  • the so-called doffing begins, ie the removal of the full sleeve 2 and the replacement by a new, empty sleeve.
  • spinning takes place, with top, rear and bottom windings being carried out.
  • the ring bench 6 travels far down, so that the thread can be laid under the underwind crown 15 around the spindle shaft 1 in three to four turns.
  • the ring bench 6 hits at least a projection 21 on the washer 19 of the rotating wear ring 17 and thus takes the sliding sleeve 9 in the direction x.
  • the underwind crown 15 leaves the receiving trough 14, and an underwind region 22 shown in FIG. 1 is formed. The above-mentioned three to four turns of the thread are then produced in this underwind region.
  • the wear ring 17 wears out over time, since the wear ring 17 is acted upon by the projection 21 both when the winding is produced and after the spindle drive has started up. As soon as the wear ring 17 has become unusable, it is removed from the outer flange 16 and replaced by a new wear ring 17.
  • the sliding sleeve 9 can also be actuated by a lever 25 which, according to arrow 26 in FIG. 2, can be pivoted by a shaft 27.
