Abstract

Claims (7)

  1. Four de stockage intermédiaire entre le dispositif d'enroulement (2), sans mandrin, disposé en aval d'une installation de coulée de brames minces (1), pour la pièce de coulée (4) en forme de bande et son dispositif de déroulement (14) correspondant au laminoir suivant,
    caractérisé par un système rotatif à palettes, constitué de chariots à palettes (9) pouvant être transportés périodiquement à travers le four (11), qui peuvent être déplacés transversalement (8,13) à l'entrée et à la sortie du four et peuvent être ramenés (17) latéralement à côté du four, les plates-formes en contact direct l'une de l'autre des chariots à palettes (9), constituées de matière réfractaire, formant la sole du four (11) et étant munies de récepteurs, constitués d'une matière faiblement conductrice de la chaleur, pour les pièces coulées, et en ce que la zone (17) du four, prévue pour ramener les chariots à palettes (9), est logée dans un carter, et en ce que le carter (18) peut être thermiquement isolé et/ou chauffé.
  2. Four selon la revendication 1,
    caractérisé en ce que, pour déplacer transversalement les chariots à palettes (9), ceux-ci peuvent être chargés sur des chariots de transfert (7) lesquels, à leur tour, peuvent être déplacés sur des voies de roulement (8,13) transversalement à la voie de roulement (10) des chariots à palettes.

    caractérisé en ce que les chariots à palettes et les chariots de transfert peuvent être déplacés sur des rails (8,10,13,16).
