Abstract

Est décrite une particule minuscule de résine fluorée composite possédant une structure multicouche ou inclinée et un diamètre moyen de 0,05-1,0 νm, et composée d'un noyau et d'une enveloppe. Le noyau comporte une résine perfluorée qui est préparée par polymérisation en émulsion, présente une composition monomère sensiblement constituée de 85-100 % en poids de tétrafluoréthylène et de 0-15 % en poids d'une oléfine fluorée copolymérisable avec celui-ci, est cristalline et présente un point de fusion égal ou supérieur à 250 °C, tandis que l'enveloppe comporte une résine de fluorure de vinylidène qui est sensiblement composée de 30-100 % en moles de fluorure de vinylidène et de 0-70 % en moles d'une autre oléfine fluorée copolymérisable avec ce dernier (sauf l'hexafluorisobutène), est cristalline et présente un point de fusion égal ou supérieur à 70 °C. Cette particule possède une excellente aptitude au mélange avec d'autres résines élastomères, ainsi qu'une excellente dispersibilité dans des matériaux de revêtement.
