Claims (8)

  1. Klappverschluß für Armbänder mit einem durch eine Mechanik mit einem ersten Klappteil (12) verbundenen einstellbaren Bandende (2) und einem festen Bandende, das durch ein Befestigungsmittel (20) direkt oder mit Hilfe eines zweiten Klappteils (12') mit dem Ende eines Längsträgers (10) verbunden ist, wobei die Mechanik eine Basisplatte (30) aufweist, die an dent Ende ihres Klappteils drehbar befestigt ist, so daß ein Deckelteil (40) in Gestalt eines umgedrehten U die Basisplatte überragt, wobei das einstellbare Bandende zwischen der Basisplatte und dem Deckelteil durchziehbar und durch einen von der inneren Oberfläche dieser Basis oder dieses Deckelteils hervorragenden Dorn (36) gehalten ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden freien Ränder des Deckelteils jeweils zur gleichen Seite hin durch einen seitlichen Arm (43) verlängert sind, dessen Ende in der Nähe des Klappteils an der zugeordneten Seitenflache der Basisplatte drehbar befestigt ist, und daß die freien Ränder des Deckelteils durch seitliche, aushakbare Vorrichtungen (34, 42) an der Seitenfläche der Basisplatte verriegelbar sind.
  2. Klappverschluß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Arme (43) etwa genauso lang sind wie der U-förmige Anteil des Deckelteils (40).
  3. Klappverschluß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Arme (43) des Deckelteils (40) durch die gleiche Querachse (31) gehalten sind, die die Basisplatte (30) mit dem Ende ihres Klappteils (12) verbindet.
  4. Klappverschluß nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Länge der Arme (43) des Klappteils (40) kleiner als ein Fünftel der Länge des U-förmigen Abschnittes des Deckelteils (40) oder sogar vernachlässigbar ist.
  5. Klappverschluß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die seitlichen Verriegelungsvorrichtungen ein auf der Innenfläche des freien Endes des U-förmigen Abschnittes des Deckelteils (40) angelegtes Nasenteil (42) umfassen, das in Einkerbungen (34) einhakt, die an den zugeordneten Seitenflächen der Basisplatte (30) angelegt sind, oder daß umgekehrt die Einkerbungen an den Ende des Deckelteils angelegt sind.
  6. Verschluß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die seitlichen Verriegelungsvorrichtungen einen an Ende abgerundeten Stift oder eine Kugel aufweisen, die an jeder Seitenfläche durch die Wirkung einer inneren, in der Basisplatte (30) angeordneten Springfeder heraustritt, wobei jede Innenfläche des freien Endes des U-förmigen Abschnittes des Deckelteils (40) eine zugeordnete Aussparung aufweist.
  7. Verschluß nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Basisplatte (30) einen entlang dein Rand, der dem zum Klappteil gerichteten Rand gegenüberliegt, konkaven oder konvexen Falz (32) aufweist.
  8. Verschluß nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Oberfläche des U-förmigen Abschnittes des Deckelteils (40) gravierte, dekorative Motive und/oder erhabene Verzierungen aufweist, die gegebenenfalls die Funktion des Falzes übernehmen.
