Definitions

  • This invention relates to improvement of sports shoes with raised heel part.
  • a shoe comprises a bottom, an insole, and an upper.
  • the bottom includes a sole portion and a heel portion.
  • the upper implies part covering around the heel side of a wearer's foot as well as the instep, and the part covering around the heel side is described as a side wall.
  • An insole of this type of shoes is flat. Heel-side part of a side wall is thickened by lining with shoe material to keep its original shape.
  • sports shoes include various types of shoes, such as jogging shoes, running shoes, flat shoes, training shoes, tennis shoes, basketball shoes, sneakers and the like.
  • a sports shoe of the present invention includes a shoe body 2 having a sole 1, and an insole 3 which is provided on the sole 1 within the shoe body 2, heel-side part 3a of the insole 3 being thicker than toe-side part 3b thereof.
  • a side fitting member 4 may be provided on heel-side upper part of a side wall 2a of the shoe body 2.
  • the insole 3 preferably comprises a sole fitting member 5 which is hollowed in a curved surface to snugly receive a wearer's foot, especially heel-side part of the foot.
  • the shoes of the present invention are made according to the above described, therefore, they may not show in appearance that the heel-side parts are raised or heightened.
  • the shoe has two cushion elements, i.e. the sole and the insole laid on top of the sole.
  • the shoe snugly fits the side and the sole of a wearer's foot.
  • Fig. 1 is a sectional view of a sports shoe of the present invention.
  • An insole 3, heel-side part of which is thicker or higher than toe-side part thereof, is laid on the upper face of the shoe sole 1 within the shoe body 2, and the shoe sole 1 has proper thickness.
  • the shoe sole 1 is made of urethan rubber.
  • the heel-side part 1a thereof measures 2.5 ⁇ 3.0 cm in thickness and the toe-side part 1b thereof measures 1.5 ⁇ 2.0 cm in thickness.
  • the heel-side part 1a is thicker or higher than the toe-side part 1b, however, the shoe of the present invention is not limited thereto. It may have a shoe sole of an even thickness from the heel end to the toe end.
  • the shoe body 2 has a side fitting member 4 on the heel-side upper part of the side wall 2a as shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
  • the side fitting member 4 is made of sponge rubber or the like to give it full of cushion.
  • the insole 3 is made of urethan rubber or the like.
  • the heel-side part 3a of the insole 3 measures 2.5 ⁇ 3.0 cm in thickness and the toe-side part 3b thereof measures 0.5 ⁇ 1.0 cm in thickness.
  • the insole 3 has a sole fitting member 5 hollowed in a curved surface on its heel side. Additionally, shown in Fig. 3, on the bottom side of the insole 3, plural elongated grooves 6 are arranged in parallel on its heel-side part 3a. The grooves are provided so as to prevent the heel-side part 3a from being twisted.
  • the heel-side part being raised is not noticeable in appearance.
  • Adding the insole 3 on the shoe sole 1 within the shoe body 2 provides double cushion elements; the shoe sole 1 and the insole 3 laid on top thereof.
  • the side fitting member 4 provided on the shoe body 2 snugly fits the side of the wearer's foot, while the sole fitting member 5 provided on the insole 3 well fits the sole of the wearer's foot.
  • the sports shoes of the present invention are made as above described, poor appearance due to the heel part being raised is reduced and rather fancy and neat appearance is given to the sports shoes.
  • the shoe sole 1 and the insole 3 provide double-cushion effect, thereby the shoe being preferably cushiony. Because of the double cushion effect, impact during exercise is lessened, which prevents damaging the spine of the wearer. Also because of the side and sole fitting members, the shoes comfortably fit the wearer's feet and he or she can wear them comfortably and there is no risk of the shoe slipping off.
