Definitions
- the invention relates to a control device for burners of heating systems or the like of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a control device is already known (company letter L ... burner controls for oil and gas burners from Landis & Gyr). If there is a desire for small compact burners, the same drive unit is used for the blower and the oil pump, so that the shaft of the drive motor drives both the oil pump and the blower. An additional air flap and / or an additional control element for the oil supply is installed so that the ratio between the amount of air to be delivered and the amount of oil to be delivered can be controlled.
- the oil quantity is controlled in the case of a specific air delivery quantity predetermined by the drive unit operated at constant speed. With this arrangement, the motor must be adjusted to either the fan wheel or the pump. If a low speed is to be selected for the pump, the fan wheel must be correspondingly large and vice versa.
- the burner power supply must also ignite both the engine (i.e. air and oil) as well as the oil preheater and the automatic ignition system before ignition supply with energy at the same time.
- the invention has for its object to improve a control device of the type mentioned in such a way that despite small space requirements and low manufacturing, assembly and maintenance costs, even with small burners low power of up to about 50 kW, the burner power can be controlled over a wide range. It is necessary to be able to comply with the safety regulations for the exhaust gas values and desirably to be as efficient as possible.
- the oil pump and the blower are each preferably equipped with their own drive unit.
- the control unit ensures that the blower or the oil pump only start their air or oil production when the supply of electrical energy to the oil preheater is at least to a large extent switched off again.
- the energy supply to the oil preheater on the one hand and to the blower or the oil pump on the other hand is switched "in series" in time: when energy is delivered to the oil preheater, the oil pump and blower remain switched off; the oil preheater, on the other hand, is switched off before the drive units for the blower or the oil pump are switched on.
- the mechanically separated one from the other Drive units of the oil pump (low speed) and the blower (high speed, small fan wheel) are controlled independently of each other. As a result, the conveying elements no longer have to be operated at nominal output, as is the case when regulating the media flow through throttle valves or deflection units.
- the electrical voltage supply which is in particular in the normal AC network, with a rectifier and such a power supply unit that the output voltage of the electrical voltage supply emits a relatively low DC voltage of the order of magnitude below 50 V, for example 35 V.
- the control device can be optimally adapted to different burners and other units.
- the blower can also be controlled or regulated separately from the oil pump with regard to its control output.
- the blower and / or oil pump can be switched on and / or off occur at different times, which helps save energy and reduces wear and tear.
- the switch-on time of the oil pump can be selected after the respective ramp-up time.
- the respective delivery characteristics can also be better taken into account and it is possible to react quickly and easily to various parameters such as the air temperature, the oil calorific value and the Co and / or O2 content of the exhaust gas.
- the voltage supply 1 is equipped, for example, with a 50 VA transformer in the power supply unit and a rectifier.
- the control unit 2 may be fed from the voltage supply 1 via intermediate taps.
- the oil feed line 3 first the oil pump 6, then the oil preheater and finally the fuel valve 7 are switched on, while in the air supply line 4, the blower 8 is switched on.
- Both the oil pump 6 and the blower 8 are equipped with their own drive units D6 and D8, in the present exemplary embodiment with 35 V DC motors. These are controlled and supplied with voltage by the control unit 2 via the control lines C6 and C8, just as a control line C5 leads from the control unit 2 to the oil preheater 5. Finally, a further control line C10 leads from the control unit 2 to the ignition unit 10, which serves to ignite the jet of an oil / air mixture emerging from the burner 9 at a specific point in time in order to initiate combustion.
- the drive units D6 and D8 are each equipped with actual value sensors S6 and S8, for example in the form of HALL probes, which have the task of determining the respective speed of the drive motors D6, D8.
- These actual value signals are passed on to control unit 2 via return lines R6 and R8, where they are further processed or evaluated for monitoring and / or regulation.
- the control unit 2 ensures at the time t 1 for switching on the oil preheater 5 to which the power N5 of 35 W until time t 2, the switching off of the oil preheater 5 is supplied. Since no other consumers are connected to the control unit 2 or the power supply unit 1 in the period between the switch-on time t 1 and the switch-off time t 2 of the oil preheater 5, this need not be designed for great performance. Only then, namely at time t3, shortly after the switch-off time t2, the drive unit D8 for the blower 8 is supplied with the power N8a up to about 28 W at N8b.
- the drive unit D6 of the oil pump 6 starts with the power N6a in order to build up a certain oil pressure in the oil supply line:
- the fuel valve becomes at the switch-on time t5 7 through the performance N7 of e.g. 3.5 W open.
- the control of the burner output begins at time t6 by e.g. at the time t 6 to supply the oil pump 6 with the power N6b of approx. 8 W.
- FIG. 3 it is shown how the microcomputer MC in the control unit 2, which follows the time programming of the switch-on phases for the oil preheater 5, the blower 8, the oil pump 6 and the fuel valve 7 2a carries out a pulse width modulated control signal emitting signal transmitter PWM controls.
- These control signals determine via the control line C8 the speed of the drive unit D8 for the blower 8, which increases the pressure of the intake air A to the pressure of the air A1.
- the sensor S8 serving as the actual value sensor detects the actual speed of the drive unit D8.
- the digital signals generated, for example, by HALL probes are fed back to the control unit 2 via the return line R8, where they are divided into two separate signal paths P and I behind the input transistor ET.
- the digital signal path P leads to a timer or counter T, the output of which is connected to the comparator COMP. From the digital signal path P branches off an RC element which has the task of integrating the digital signals P1, P2 to analog signals I1 and I2 and supplying an analog / digital converter A / D via the analog signal path I, from which in turn digital signals to the Comparator COMP arrive, which is connected to the microcomputer MC.
- control unit 2 with the microcomputer MC there are also storage elements and such electrical or electronic assemblies which, for example, as a function of the boiler water temperature, flow and / or return temperature of the heating system, room temperature of the rooms to be heated, outside temperature and the like Take on control tasks and increase or decrease the speed of the fan 8 or the oil pump 6 or set it to zero, ie switch off the drive unit concerned completely.
- the oil preheater only serves as a starting aid, later the burner flame itself warms the oil in front of the burner nozzle. A certain amount of oil heating is also achieved due to internal friction due to the operation of the oil pump.
- the limitation of the oil preheating before the start of the blower or the oil pump is sufficient, since preheated oil is more ignitable and the warm oil flows turbulently through the nozzle at a certain pump pressure, which means a lower amount of "atomized" oil per unit of time.

Abstract
Description
Dabei zeigen:
- Fig. 1
- ein schematisches Schaubild einer Ausbildungsform der Erfindung;
- Fig. 2
