Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method and a device for fire protection highly sensitive, especially electrical and / or electronic devices by means of a gaseous extinguishing agent, which is stored in a highly compressed manner and in Fire is brought into the facility to be protected.
  • EDP devices are usually used to protect EDP.
  • the EDP devices are provided with automatic fire detection systems and in In the event of a fire, the extinguishing agent is applied to such an extent that the oxygen concentration a value is reduced at which the combustion is prevented.
  • DE 41 16 777 A1 discloses a method in which nitrogen is used as the extinguishing agent is used, which is sprayed directly into the equipment to be protected.
  • the object of the invention was therefore to specify a method and a device, with no inside highly sensitive electronic devices none Installations for the supply of extinguishing agent are required and the device is easy to implement when changing devices.
  • This task becomes for the method according to the invention by the characterizing features of claim 1 solved.
  • the task is characterizing feature of claim 6 solved.
  • the sub-claims 7 to 9 give preferred embodiments the device.
  • the housing of the electrical Set up the supply air opening or the exhaust air opening for the one taking place in the electrical device Air cooling can be used.
  • This procedure has the Advantage that extensions for the supply of extinguishing agents only must take place outside the housing.
  • the extensions for the supply of extinguishing agents can also be largely standardized as supply air and Exhaust air openings for air cooling itself different types of devices essentially similar have geometric shapes. Usually it is to be arranged side by side in one direction Exceptions in the housing of the electronic device. This is an adaptation to the inside of the housing different geometries, as in direct Introduction of extinguishing agent into the interior of the housing are necessary, dispensable.
  • Extinguishing agent can preferably be supplied via the Exhaust air opening of the electrical device, in particular with the ventilation device switched off.
  • This special process variant has the advantage that Installations are only required at the exhaust air opening the automatic fire detection device anyway are to be arranged. The necessary renovation work are thus limited to a relatively small part of the electronic device.
  • the Extinguishing agent added from one at the exhaust air opening arranged automatic fire detection device controlled, which detects the fire and by means of a control device the supply of extinguishing agent triggers.
  • the automatic fire detection device exists usually from a in the area of the exhaust air opening electronic device arranged, for example tubular part which has suction openings and with one, especially self-priming fire detector, one so-called active detector is connected.
  • the active detector In the active detector the occurrence of flue gas in the automatic Fire detection device detected, and in the event of a fire becomes a signal to release an extinguishing agent valve submitted.
  • the method according to the invention is a separate one Provision for the supply of extinguishing agent this device on the housing of the electrical Devices are arranged movably and only when detection in the event of a fire, aligned via the housing opening is moved so that at the feeder for Extinguishing agent outlets on the Align the housing opening in alignment.
  • the device according to the invention has outflow openings which are arranged in a feed device, which via feed lines with a storage container for gaseous extinguishing agent are connected, the Outflow openings at least in the event of a fire an opening in the housing of the electrical device are arranged.
  • the outlets for gaseous extinguishing agents aligned with the exhaust air openings of the electrical Facility arranged. This has the advantage that none additional opening in the housing must be made and Installation only required in the area of the exhaust air opening are.
  • the Feeding device on the housing of the electronic Device arranged movably.
  • the advantage here is that the normal exhaust air flow on the outside of the housing is not hindered. It is only in the event of a fire Feeder moved over the exhaust port so that the outflow openings for gaseous extinguishing agent are aligned with the exhaust air openings.
  • the Feeding device on the housing of the electronic Device arranged foldable. This has the advantage that only simple locking mechanisms solved need to be the gaseous feeder Let the extinguishing agent fall into the desired position.
  • the feed device Exhaust air area existing automatic Fire detection device can be used.
  • the suction openings of the tubular Part of the fire detection system as outflow openings used for the gaseous extinguishing agent. Based on schematically illustrated embodiments Devices according to the invention described.
  • Fig. 1 is on a housing 1 of an electronic Device arranged an exhaust port 2.
  • the exhaust air opening 2 is automatic Fire detection device 3 with suction openings 4.
  • On the housing 1 is a via a swivel 5 Extinguishing device 6 rotatably mounted.
  • the extinguishing device 6 consists of a carrier 7 on which one, for example tubular feeder 8 is attached.
  • In of the feed device 8 are outflow openings 9 for gaseous extinguishing agent provided.
  • the carrier 7 has a projection 10 with a rotatably mounted Locking device is engaged. In the event of a fire the locking device 11, for example with a Electromagnets from the rest position against the Turned clockwise.
  • the invention Extinguishing device 6 is preferably with holding devices provided that easily without the use of special tools can be attached or detached to the protected device. In order to the extinguishing device is simple when changing devices feasible. The same applies to the automatic Fire detection device.
  • a automatic fire detection device 20 arranged is.
  • this is a piece of pipe that the exhaust air opening 2 facing side, suction openings having.
  • the automatic fire detection device 20 is connected to an intake line 21, which via a Valve 22 leads to an active detector 23.
  • Active detector 23 is a fan for sucking in air flowing out of the exhaust air opening 2;
  • the sucked in Air is in the active detector 23 in a measuring device led to the detection of smoke particles.
  • the Measuring device of the active detector 23 smoke particles in the sucked air flow is detected at a given concentration of smoke particles Release of extinguishing agents via a line 24 and a Valve 25 released.
  • the valve 22 closed.
  • Through line 24 and automatic Fire detection device and the attached therein Intake openings are then gaseous extinguishing agent in the Air outlet 2 blown in.
