Abstract

Structure de la partie de scellement d'une lampe à décharge, dans laquelle une extrémité ouverte d'une ampoule est scellée par un élément d'obturation possédant une partie c÷ur constituant une électrode. Le matériau constituant l'élément d'obturation est d'un type possédant sensiblement le même c÷fficient d'expansion thermique que celui de l'ampoule dans la région située sur le côté de l'ampoule en position contiguë à l'extrémité ouverte de cette dernière et possédant également le même c÷fficient d'expansion thermique que celui du c÷ur dans la région située sur le côté du c÷ur en position contiguë à ce dernier. Le composant situé dans la région intermédiaire entre les côtés de l'ampoule et du c÷ur est réglé de façon que son c÷fficient d'expansion thermique se modifie graduellement depuis celui de la région du côté de l'ampoule à celui de la région du côté du c÷ur. Le côté de la région de l'ampoule et le côté de la région du c÷ur sont séparés par la région intermédiaire, de façon à constituer respectivement une couche indépendante de région latérale de l'ampoule et une couche de région latérale du c÷ur. La région intermédiaire est structurée par au moins une couche possédant un c÷fficient d'expansion thermique se modifiant graduellement depuis celui de la région latérale de l'ampoule vers celui de la région latérale du c÷ur. De préférence, l'épaisseur des couches de l'élément d'obturation augmente graduellement depuis la région latérale de l'ampoule vers la région latérale du c÷ur.
