Definitions

  • the invention relates to a clamp made of plastic for clamping sheet-shaped objects, in which the clamping jaws of two articulated clamping levers are clamped against one another along a clamping line by means of spring force.
  • the two clamping levers are penetrated by the cylindrical winding of a torsion spring and are thus rotatably guided.
  • the two spring ends grip the outer surfaces of the jaws with angled webs.
  • clips in accordance with DE-GM 89 12 654 are more suitable because they have clamping levers with elongated clamping jaws. These clamping levers are braced against each other by a molded leaf spring, which creates the problem of generating a sufficiently large clamping force.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of developing a clamp for the longest possible clamping line, which is easy to operate manually and, on the other hand, generates a clamping force which is sufficiently large, for example, to also be able to securely close open bag packages.
  • the solution to the problem is that the clamp has two bearing points for the clamping levers which are spaced apart from one another parallel to the clamping line and which are each encompassed by a U-shaped spring, the legs of which bear against the The jaws are spring loaded. Due to this arrangement of relatively short U-shaped springs, the possibility is opened. To form brackets of the desired clamping line length, with which a sufficient clamping force is generated and yet a relatively easy handling with manual force is made possible.
  • the clip according to the invention can be used for a wide variety of purposes, for example for clamping
  • the invention is not restricted to the application examples mentioned.
  • the individual bearing point is expedient to form the individual bearing point from a pan-like groove on one clamping lever and from a bead on the other clamping lever which engages in the groove, which are held in their engagement position by the spring legs encompassing them. It proves to be expedient if the individual spring is fixed with its legs on the jaws of the clamp like a snap lock.
  • the individual clamping jaw in the region of each bearing point has a cutout corresponding to the clip length and open opposite to the clamping line, into which the legs of the spring engage. You can therefore press the spring from above into the recess and thus bring about a positive connection of the clamping levers in their bearings.
  • the wall delimiting the recess on the inside beneath the bearing axis advantageously has a strip-shaped projection which is undercut by a bead-like thickening of the leg edge of the spring. This arrangement facilitates the snap-type connection of the clamping levers and enables their releasability.
  • the invention is not limited to the fact that two clamping levers have to be produced individually and connected to one another. It is also possible to connect the clamping levers in the area of the bearing points by injection molding using a thin curved wall section to form a one-piece clamp, whereby it is only advisable to form suitable centering measures between the two legs of the one-piece clamping lever so that when the springs are pushed on a clear clamping position is achieved.

  • the bracket (1) itself consists of two clamping levers (2, 3) made of plastic, which are articulated in the area of two bearing points (8), as can be seen, for example, from FIGS. 3 and 4. However, this connection of the clamping levers (2, 3) is only to be understood as centering on the rotation.
  • the clamp (1) requires the additional arrangement of U-springs (7) in order to connect the clamping levers (2, 3) in a force-locking manner.
  • the clamping jaw (4) of the clamping lever (2) in the area of the bearing points (8) has a pan-like groove (10) into which a bead (11) of the clamping jaw (5) of the other clamping lever (3) engages.
  • a U-shaped spring (7) which can consist of a resilient plastic, with its legs (9) from above over the bearing point (8), i.e. is pushed over the fillet (10) and the bead (11), the clamping force of the legs (9) acts against the walls (13) of the clamping jaws (4,5) and clamp them firmly against each other in the area of the clamping line (6).
  • recesses (12) are provided on the clamping jaws (4,5) which are open at the top and which are delimited on the inside by the walls (13). As particularly shown in Fig. 1, the U-springs (7) can now be easily inserted from above into the recesses (12).
  • the outer sides of the walls (13) have strip-shaped projections (15), which are gripped behind by bead-like thickenings (16) of the legs (9) of the U-spring (7).
  • the shape of the U-spring (7) must therefore be determined so that the bead-like thickening (16) can still pass the strip-shaped projections (15) when the spring (7) is pressed into the recess (12). 3 then the legs (9) of the spring (7) must be biased so far that they exert a sufficient closing pressure on the jaws (4,5).
  • FIG. 5 An example of the invention is shown in the example of FIG. 5, with a one-part bracket 1 'being assumed.
  • the two clamping levers (2, 3) are connected to one another by a curved and weakened wall section (18) which acts like a hinge.
