Claims (8)

  1. Procédé pour le revêtement par rideau d'un support en mouvement avec une matière de revêtement liquide, plus particulièrement des émulsions photographiques, l'air entraíné par ledit support en mouvement étant évacué avant le rideau, vu en direction de mouvement du support, caractérisé en ce que l'aspiration est effectuée par une fente (17) s'étendant sur la longueur entière de la racle et dont l'ouverture se trouve immédiatement derrière l'arête avant de la racle.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que de l'air est constamment admis à l'espace (10) situé devant le rideau de coulée, vu en direction de mouvement du support, constitué par la face inférieure (9) de la lèvre de coulée (2), les délimitations latérales (6), le support en mouvement (5) et la face frontale (8) du dispositif d'aspiration, ledit air étant évacué près du support.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que l'air admis est préchauffé.
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que la quantité d'air admis et évacué est réglée afin d'ajuster l'emplacement de la ligne de mouillage dynamique du rideau sur le support.
  5. Appareil pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon la revendication 1, comprenant un verseur (1) muni d'une lèvre de coulée (2) ainsi qu'un rouleau de coulée (4) porteur d'un support (5), caractérisé en ce que ledit appareil comporte un dispositif d'aspiration disposé devant le rideau (3) et comprenant une racle (7) aspirante dont l'arête avant en regard du rideau (3) présente une fente (17) s'étendant sur la largeur du support et reliée à une installation de vide, l'ouverture de ladite fente (17) étant située près de la surface du support (5) et de la ligne de mouillage dynamique (26) du rideau (3).
  6. Appareil selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la distance a entre l'ouverture de la fente (17) et la surface du support sur le rouleau de coulée est comprise entre 0,1 et 1,0 mm, préférablement entre 0,1 et 0,5 mm, et que la distance b entre l'ouverture de la fente (17) et la ligne de mouillage dynamique (26) est comprise entre 5 et 40 mm, préférablement entre 10 et 20 mm.
  7. Appareil selon la revendication 5 pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon la revendication 1, comprenant un verseur (1) constitué de la plaque de coulée (21) et muni d'une lèvre de coulée (2), ainsi qu'un rouleau de coulée (4) porteur d'un support (5), caractérisé en ce qu'une ouverture (22) disposée parallèlement au rideau (3) est prévue à l'endroit de la dernière plaque de coulée (21) sous la lèvre de coulée (2), ladite ouverture étant reliée à une installation d'admission d'air.
  8. Appareil selon l'une des revendications 5 à 9, caractérisé en ce que l'ouverture (22) est constituée par une fente entre le face arrière (15) de la racle aspirante, opposée au rideau, et la face frontale de la dernière plaque de coulée (21).
