- a T-shaped groove is fitted for each row of blades with curved and oblique axial grooves. Due to the position of the T-groove at the level of the groove base of the blade groove, the T-groove runs through the blade root.
- L-shaped elements that are curved according to the circumference of the rotor can be inserted.
- Two L-shaped elements next to each other pushed together to form a T and completely fill the T-shaped groove.

- the blade root 3 is in the form of a fir tree with a plurality of teeth 11. Accordingly, the blade grooves 2 in the drum rotor 1 are also formed with teeth 20.
- the blades 5 are accelerated radially outward, being held back by the drum rotor 1 by the fir tree-shaped attachment.
- the bore 9 lies completely in the axial projection 12 of the blade root 3.
- the bore 9 is therefore outside that area of the blade root 3 which is loaded when the rotor 1 rotates.
- the blade root is not weakened by the bore 9.

- the blades 5 are inserted into the axial blade grooves 2 and pushed over the depressed bolt 6 until the bore 9 is above the bore 8.
- the bolt 6 is pressed upwards by the spring 7 and penetrates into the bore 9, as a result of which the rotor blade is axially fixed.
- the spring 7 must of course be designed so that the spring force is at least as large as the sum of the friction of the bolt 6 in the bores 8 and 9 and the weight of the bolt.
