  • This clamp 106 has the essential function of keep the syringe 2 in contact with the lower retaining flange 107 of the pipette case, while the piston rod 5 can move with the clamp 100 inside the housing 10 of the pipette.
  • the upper part 108 of the clamp 100 comprises means for securing with the upper end of the push rod 15 to control the longitudinal movements of the clamp 100 and piston 5 assembly in said housing 10 of the pipette.
