Definitions
- the invention relates to a portable container according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such containers are known for example as so-called “swimming safes” and serve as a water-tight screwable capsule to hold important documents that are protected from sand, sun and water, e.g. B. are protected on vacation and contain information about the carrier of this capsule, for example, for assistance.
- Such capsules can have a tab or eyelet so that they can be made with the help of a band, an arm or necklace or the like. can be worn on the body of the user.
- a disadvantage of these known devices is that they do not allow the inclusion of relatively large objects, for example a passport, a wristwatch or a wallet.
- a further disadvantage of these containers is that they must necessarily be carried by the user in order to inadvertently open these containers. to prevent containers. It is therefore not possible, for example, in summer bathing operations, to leave objects which do not necessarily have to be carried, but which must be supervised, in such portable containers, since these containers can either be easily stolen overall or simply opened by unauthorized persons can .
- the invention has for its object to improve a generic container in such a way that it enables a safe holding of utensils.
- the invention proposes not only to fasten the connecting element in the form of a chain or similar, but to pass it through both housing parts, so that a housing which is once closed cannot be opened.
- the innovation proposes to provide openings which are aligned with one another in the inner part and outer part of the housing, so that when the housing is closed, the connecting element can be guided through all openings in the inner and outer part which are aligned with one another. An opening of the container is then only possible if the housing itself or the connecting element is destroyed. This will deter potential thieves as it takes up a significant amount of time and draws attention to the thief.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a closed two-part container; and FIG. 2 shows the two parts of the container shown in FIG. 1 in an expanded and pivoted position.
- the container 1 generally designates a portable container which consists of an outer part 2 and an inner part 3. In the closed state, as shown in Fig. 1, the container 1 does not have any protruding elements, but a flush contour, so that damage to the container is difficult I possible.
- the outer part 2 accommodates the inner part 3 in a drawer-like manner, as can be seen particularly from FIG. 2: There it can be seen that the inner part 3 can be inserted into the outer part 2, the inner part 3 being easier to handle on its upper and A grip area 4 is provided on the underside, which engages in corresponding recesses 5 of the outer part 2 and does not form any protruding edges or surfaces.
- openings 6 are provided both in the outer part 2 and in the inner part 3, which are arranged such that they are aligned with one another when the container is closed, as shown in FIG. 1.
- a connecting element for example a commercially available ring lock 7, as is provided for securing bicycles, can therefore be guided through these openings 6 which are aligned with one another.
- a ring lock 7 is indicated schematically in FIG. 1. Its actual locking part can be operated with the help of a key or, as shown, can be designed as a combination lock.
- part of the ring lock 7 is received by a groove 8, so that the actual closing part of the ring lock 7 is arranged protected.
- An end plate 9 with a guide opening 10 serves at one end of the channel 8 to receive and guide the ring lock, so that the removal of the closing part from the channel 8 is made more difficult for unauthorized persons.
- an alarm device can be provided which comprises, for example, a pressure switch which monitors the ring lock 7 in the channel 8. If, for example, the locking part of the ring lock 7 is raised and guided out of the groove 8, an alarm can be triggered as a result of the pressure switch of the alarm device being released.
- a movement sensor can be provided in the alarm device, which also triggers an alarm when the position of the entire container changes.
- a keyboard field for example in the form of a membrane keyboard that is insensitive to water and sand, can be provided, so that the legal user of the container 1 can first operate the keyboard field at a freely accessible location and disarm the alarm device. Then the lock is easy to handle without triggering an AI arm.
- the handling of the two-part container 1 can be facilitated in that a latching is provided between the outer part 2 and the inner part 3, for example with the aid of a spring clip which can be pressed down from the outside in order to release the latching and to enable the removal of the inner part 3 from the outer part 2. This prevents the inner part 3 from accidentally falling out of the outer part 2.
- a secure hold of the inner part 3 in the Outer part 2 can be achieved by clamping elements, for example by knobs or by clamping wedges 11 recognizable in FIG. 2.
- Fig. 1 an arrangement of the ring lock 7 can be seen, which in view of the diameter of this ring lock 7 leaves only a very small space to fasten the container 1 with the help of the lock 7 on a pile or similar object of small diameter as close as possible .
- 4 shows an arrangement of a ring lock 7a, which makes almost the entire free inner cross section of the ring lock 7a available for attachment to an object.
- the two arrangements of the ring lock 7 and 7a shown in FIGS. 1 and 4 further differ in that, in the arrangement according to FIG. 1, the inner part 3 is also secured by the ring lock 7 in such a way that the Ring lock 7 not only extends through the openings 6, but would also hinder the pulling out of the inner part 3 from the outer part 2. In this way, double locking is effected with the help of the ring lock 7.
- the ring lock 7a which comprises a lock head 12 and a flexible lock body 14, is arranged such that the lock body 14 does not run in front of the front plate of the inner part 3. In this way, mobility of the inner part 3 is made possible, although the outer part 2 of the container 1 is fixed by the ring lock 7a, as can be seen in FIGS. 5 and 6: From FIG. 5 it can be seen that the free end of the lock body 14, which can be removed from the lock head 12, comprises a cylindrical section 15 with a locking head 16, the locking head 16 having a catch 17, which is included in the lock head 12 Help a lock can be set. Arranged within the cylindrical section 15 is a telescopic rod 18, which is shown in its extended position in FIG. 5, but which can, however, be sunk into the cylindrical section 15. This telescopic rod 18 has at its free end a second catch similar to the catch 17, which can be fixed within the lock head 12 by means of a second lock.
- the ring lock 7a can therefore have three different bolt states: In Fig. 4, a closed position is shown in which the cylindrical portion 15 extends through the openings 6 of the inner part 3 and the outer part 2 and thereby fixes the inner part 3 in the outer part 2.
- FIG. 5 an intermediate position is shown in which the lock associated with the catch 17 is released within the lock head 12 and in which the cylindrical section 15 has been pulled away from the lock head 12 so that the telescopic rod 18 has telescoped out of the cylindrical section 15 .
- a stop limits this telescopic movement, and in this intermediate position shown in FIG. 5, the detent of the telescopic rod 18 in the lock head 12 is fixed by the second lock provided there.
- the ring formed by the ring lock 7a is therefore still closed
- the outer part 2 of the container 1 is therefore still attached to, for example, a pile or a similar holding means.
- the inner part 3 can, however, be removed, as is clear from FIG. 5 and FIG.
- the openings 6 of the inner part 3 are followed by guide slots 19 which, where they abut the openings 6, have a smaller width than it corresponds to the diameter of the openings 6.
- the inner part 3 is therefore fixed in the outer part 2 by the ring lock 7a.
- the telescopic rod 18 has a considerably smaller diameter than the cylindrical section 15, the inner part 3 can be pulled out of the outer part 2 in the position shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the telescopic rod 18 being relative to the opening 6 and is guided through the guide slot 19.
- the inner part 3 can be inserted into the outer part 2, the insertion of the telescopic rod 18 into the guide slot 19 being facilitated in that the width of the guide slot 19 in the manner of an insertion funnel extends from the free end of the inner part 3 to Opening 6 reduced.
- This intermediate position of the ring lock 7a shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 serves in particular to facilitate the handling of the portable container 1: for example, the container 1 should basically remain secured to its holding means, but only for a short time something from the container 1 are removed, it is not necessary with the help of this intermediate position to completely remove the lock from the container 1 and then again through all openings 6 of the container 1 to fix the container again. Rather, the rapid removal and rapid reinstallation of the inner part 3 into the outer part 2 is possible, and then only the lock body 14 with its cylindrical section 15 has to be guided back into the lock head 12 in order to lock the catch 17 and thereby the container 1 secure in its closed state.
- a third locking position the ring of the ring lock 7a is opened in that a free end of the lock body 15 is completely detached from the lock head 12.
- both the container 1 can be removed from its holding means, for example from a pole or a fence, and the ring lock 7a itself can be removed from the container 1, for example in order to accommodate it in a space-saving manner or in another Arrangement, for example the arrangement shown in FIG. 1, to be fixed on the container 1.
- ring lock 7a can optionally be detachable from the lock head 12 at the two free ends of the lock body 14. In this way, the handling of the container 1 is facilitated in that either one or the other free end of the lock body 14 can be detached from the lock head 12. Furthermore, the catch already mentioned at the free end of the telescopic rod 18 can be seen from FIG. 7.
- the intermediate Position of a ring lock can be achieved in that not a cylindrical section 15 is provided as the locking element, but a section with, for example, rectangular cross section, so that by means of a 90 rotation either the wide cross section of this rectangular section locks the inner part 3 in the outer part 2 or by an opposite 90 - rotation of the narrow cross section can be passed through the opening 6 and the connecting guide slot 19, so that in this position the inner part 3 can be removed from the outer part 2.
- twisting the entire ring lock causes the locking element to be rotated through 90 ° relative to the container 1.
- this rotation can only take place if the lock head 12 has been led out of the groove 8.
- the lock body 14 can engage rotatably on such a locking element with a rectangular cross-section, this locking element being locked in the lock head 12 in a rotationally fixed manner.
- a thickening of the lock body 14 can also ensure that, when the lock is closed, the lock cannot be moved or rotated relative to the container 1.
- the thickening can lie closely against the bottom of the container 1, that is to say with respect to the upper side of the container 1 having the groove 8. In this way it is impossible to move the lock relative to the container 1 until the lock head 12 comes out of the groove 8 is released.
- an advantage of the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings is, however, that the ring lock 7 or 7a has such mobility in relation to the container 1. In this way, a rigid connection between the lock and the container is avoided, which could offer a starting point for lifting the lock or the container with a suitable tool. In the case of such attempts, in the exemplary embodiments shown, the lock 7 or 7a is only moved relative to the container 1, without damage to the lock or the container being possible.
