Abstract

Eine Kühltheke, insbesondere eine Kühltheke für leicht verderbliche Lebensmittel wie Fleischwaren, umfaßt eine vom Thekenkorpus getragene Thekenwanne (2), eine in der Thekenwanne angeordnete Warenplattform (3), einen oberhalb der Warenplattform (3) angeordneten Warenraum (5) und einen darunter angeordneten Wannenraum (15). Weiterhin ist wenigstens ein Ventilator (29) zur Erzeugung einer über den Warenauflagebereich der Warenplattform (3) geführten Luftströmung (10) vorhanden, welche über einen aus dem Wannenraum (15) und einem bedienseitigen Zuführkanal (16) gebildeten Strömungskanal zum Warenraum zurückgeleitet wird. Zur Hygienisierung ist eine UV-Strahlungsquelle (25) gemeinsam mit einer Kühleinrichtung (23) im Strömunskanal derart angeordnet, daß die Kühleinrichtung von der UV-Strahlung beaufschlagt ist.
