Abstract

L'invention concerne une plaquette pour frein à disque à garniture partielle, notamment un frein à étrier flottant, qui comprend une plaque support de garniture (1), munie sur sa face frontale d'une garniture de frein (11) destinée à être comprimée sur un disque de frein, et comportant en outre des éléments amortisseurs de bruit. Afin d'améliorer l'amortissement du bruit, il est prévu qu'en ses points de contact radiaux (3, 10) orientés en direction du support de frein et/ou du boîtier de frein, la plaque support de garniture (1) soit munie d'un revêtement (9) radial amortissant le bruit, réalisée dans un matériau approprié. Il est également prévu que le revêtement (9) amortissant le bruit soit formé par une section (8) recourbée de la tôle d'amortissement (4).
