- the invention relates to a drilling and / or chiseling device according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- a drilling and / or chiseling device with a guide tube wherein a piston of a striking mechanism and a racket are arranged axially displaceable in the guide tube. Between the piston and the racket, the guide tube has a radially extending air passage, which can be closed by a relative to the guide tube axially displaceable control body.
- a device according to the preamble of claim 2 is also known from DE 3743333 A.
- the drilling or chiseling tool and guided in the housing striker and cooperating with the striker control body relative to the housing of the device moves against the processing direction until the control body comes after closing the air passage at a pointing in the machining direction stop edge of the housing to the plant.
- the air passage should be released as quickly as possible so that the pistons in the interior of the guide tube are no longer pressurized and the club, striker and drill or chisel tool are no longer in the machine direction can put off.
- a quick release of the air passage is achieved by the control body is moved as quickly as possible in the machining direction to its original position.
- control body Since the entire contact force is transmitted via the control body to the housing, the control body must be made very solid and have a very high strength, resulting in a high dead weight.
- the high weight of the spring and the control body has a negative effect on the overall weight of the device. Due to the high total weight, the handling of the device is poor and there is a fast fatigue of the operator.
- the invention has for its object to provide a drilling and / or chiselling device, which has a low overall weight, is easy to use, economical to manufacture and safe to use.
- the co-operating with the first stop shoulder of the anvil control body has a low strength and a low weight.
- the individual parts of the control are, for example, very thin-walled and have little Dimensions. Since the control body according to the invention has a very low weight, it can also be displaced parallel to the machining direction with very little force. When springing the device from a ground for the displacement of the control body provided in the machining direction spring has a low spring force and a low weight. The fact that the spring and the individual parts of the control body have a low weight, a device with a low weight can be created.

- control body is preferably formed by a shift fork, a shift rod and a shift sleeve, wherein the cooperating with the first stop shoulder stop of the control body is formed by the shift fork.
- the weight of the control is kept very small by advantageously the shift fork and the shift rod are integrally formed.
- a guide of the shift rod parallel to the machining direction for example, in at least one slot-like, extending parallel to the machining direction opening of the guide tube through which the shift fork protrudes into the interior of the guide tube.
- the thickness measured perpendicular to the machining direction of at least the Shift rod corresponds for example substantially the wall thickness of the guide tube.
- the shift rod and the shift sleeve are advantageously formed in one piece.
- the mass forces of the control body can be kept very small and thus a very fast back and forth movement of the control body is possible
- the control body is preferably at least partially made of plastic.
- control body is expediently at least partially made of aluminum.
- the drilling and / or chiseling device shown schematically in FIG. 1 has a housing 1 with a handle 3, a switch 4, a tool holder 2 for a tool, not shown, and an electric cable 5, via which the device can be connected to an external power source is.
