Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer elastischen flexiblen Kontaktzunge, die aus einer Metallplatte gewonnen wird, und aus dieser heraussteht, um im Arbeitseinsatz mit einer anderen Platte und/oder mit anderen Gegenständen, die sich in ihrer Nähe befinden, einen mechanischen oder elektrischen Kontakt herzustellen.
Es sind flexible und elastische Kontaktzungen aus Metall bekannt, durch die ein elektrischer oder mechanischer Kontakt zu anderen Metallteilen hergestellt werden kann.Diese bekannten Kontaktzungen bestehen normalerweise aus einem dünnen Metallplättchen, das beispielsweise mittels einer Niete an einem Ende mit einer Metallstruktur verbunden wird, normalerweise mit der tragenden Oberfläche eines Metallrahmens, während das andere freie Ende federnd vorspringt und dabei die zu kontaktierende Oberfläche berührt. Abgesehen vom komplexen Herstellungsvorgang und der aufwendigen Positionierung und Befestigung, ragt die Zunge zur Gänze aus der Platte, auf der sie befestigt ist, hervor, so daß sie während und nach der Montage anschlagen, und damit auf Grund ihrer geringen Stärke beschädigt werden kann. Außerdem kann es aufgrund der scharfen Kanten zu Verletzungen bei den mit der Montage befaßten Personen kommen.
Es ist auch bereits eine aus einem Metallstreifen durch Stanz- und Biegevorgänge hergestellte Kontaktfeder bekannt (EP 0 226 952 Al), die aus zwei parallelen Einzelstreifen unterschiedlicher Länge gebildet ist, wobei das freie Ende des längeren Einzelstreifens schleifenartig zurückgeführt und U-förmig umgebogen ist, so dass es zusammen mit dem freien Ende des als Kontaktzunge dienenden kürzeren Einzelstreifens ein Kontaktpaar mit zwei einander gegenüberstehenden Kontaktflächen bildet.
Aus DE 195 07 846 ist ferner eine Kontaktzunge bekannt, die ebenfalls direkt aus einem Metallstreifen gewonnen wird, und zwar durch einen Arbeitsvorgang, der aus einer Folge von Stanz- und Figurausschnitts-Arbeitsgängen besteht, einer teilweisen, lokalisierten Prägung und einer Biegung. Bei den Figurausschnitts-Arbeitsvorgängen wird das Metall so entfernt, daß eine Zunge gebildet wird, die an einem Ende der Platte verbunden bleibt und an drei Seiten freisteht.
Durch die lokalisierte, teilweise Prägung in Korrespondenz zu dem mit der Platte verbundenen Teil ergeben sich für die hervorstehende Zunge elastische Eigenschaften.
Mit dem Biegevorgang wird die Zunge derart geformt und dem Arbeitsziel entsprechend gebogen, daß der gewünschte Kontakt mit einer anderen Platte oder einem anderen zu kontaktierenden Element zustande kommt.
Bei dieser bekannten Kontaktzunge kommt es auf Grund des großen Zwischenraums an den drei Seiten einerseits zur Verhakung der vorstehenden Zunge mit Fremdkörpern und Verletzungen an den Händen des Beschäftigten, andererseits stellt sie eine Ausgangs- und Auslaßöffnung dar, die bei einigen Anwendungen nicht akzeptabel ist. Außerdem kann die durch die Stanzung hervorgerufene offene Kante bei ungeschicktem Hantieren zu Verletzungen der Bedienungsperson führen.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, eine elastische Kontaktzunge zu schaffen, die preisgünstig und schnell herzustellen ist und die, aus einer Metallplatte geformt, derart ausgebildet ist, daß sie unter Beibehaltung ihrer durch den Herstellungsprozess gewonnenen federnden Eigenschaften den Kontakt mit einer anderen Metallplatte oder mit einem anderen metallischen Element garantiert. Darüber hinaus soll die Kontaktzunge so ausgebildet sein, daß die Gefahr von Verletzungen durch die hervorstehende Zunge und deren feine Struktur weitgehend ausgeschlossen werden kann.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe ergibt sich erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale des Anspruches 1. Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind in Unteransprüchen angegeben. Die Merkmale einer nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren hergestellten Kontaktzunge sind in den Ansprüchen 9 und 10 angegeben.
Die mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren herstellbare Kontaktzunge weist u.a. folgende Vorteile auf:
  • Die Kontaktzunge ragt aus der Oberfläche der Metallplatte, aus der sie gewonnen wurde, derart hervor, daß sie sich, wenn sie von der Gegenseite eingedrückt wird, in die durch den Prägearbeitsgang geschaffene Prägung hineinbiegt, und damit im Bedarfsfall flach auf der Platte anliegt;
  • die Kontaktzunge zeigt mit der scharfen Kante, die in der zweiten Stanzphase entsteht, gegen das Innere der Prägung, und somit in eine von der Bedienungsperson geschützte Richtung, so daß Verletzungen vermieden werden;
  • die um die Kontaktzunge herum bestehenden Öffnungen sind minimal, und werden bei Einbiegen der Zunge in die Prägeöffnung fast völlig verschlossen.
Die erfindungsgemäße Kontaktzunge sowie deren Herstellung werden im Folgenden anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Hierbei zeigt:

Die Zeichnungen und die entsprechend beschriebenen Teile sind nur zu Illustrationszwecken der Erfindung genannt worden, und stellen in keinem Fall eine Begrenzung derselben dar.
In den Zeichnungen sind mit 1 eine Metallplatte bezeichnet, mit 2 eine flexible Kontaktzunge, mit 3 eine Kante, die die Prägung 4 begrenzt, mit 5 ein hervorstehender Kontaktknopf, mit 6 eine Öffnung für das während der Prägephase sich verlagernde Material, mit 8 das freie Ende der Kontaktzunge 2, mit 9 die obere Oberfläche der Platte 1, mit 10 die untere Oberfläche, mit 11 der gepreßte Rand zwischen der Kante 3 der Prägung 4 und der umlaufenden Kante der Kontaktzunge 2. Daraus ergibt sich insgesamt eine flexible und elastische Kontaktzunge 2, die aus einer Metallplatte 1 gewonnen bzw. geformt wird, deren Teil sie ist.
Die Kontaktzunge 2 ragt aus der Platte 1 hervor, und hat elastische Eigenschaften, die sich insofern auswirken, als sich die Zunge, wenn sie gegen eine Kontaktfläche gedrückt wird, biegt, den Kontakt hält, und gleichzeitig in Richtung der Vertiefung der Prägung 4 gedrückt wird, aus der sie normalerweise bis zu ihrem Hereindrücken hervorsteht. Dabei wird gleichzeitig die Öffnung 6, aus der die Kontaktzunge 2 entstanden ist, fast vollständig verschlossen.
Die Arbeitsgänge zur Herstellung der Kontaktzunge 2 sehen eine erste Stanzphase vor (Figur 3), mit der auf der Metallplatte 1 eine weite Ausstoßöffnung 6 geschaffen wird, eine Prägephase (Figur 4), durch die an den Kanten der Ausstoßöffnung 6 die Prägung 4 und der hervorstehende Kontaktknopf 5 geschaffen werden und eine zweite Stanz- und Biegephase, in der die Kontaktzunge 2 gestanzt und auf der Seite herausgedrückt wird, auf der die Prägung 4 selbst durchgeführt wurde.
Mit dem ersten Stanzarbeitsgang wird Metall entfernt, und dabei eine schlitzartige längliche Ausstoßöffnung 6 geschaffen, die in Korrespondenz zur zu produzierenden Zentralachse der Kontaktzunge 2 liegt.
Mit dem darauf folgenden Prägesarbeitsgang wird das gesamte Metall der Prägung 4 unter Druck verformt bis es derart elastisch ist, daß die realisierte Kontaktzunge um ihre Ruheposition herum flexibel und elastisch wird, während die Stärke der Platte 1 lokal begrenzt reduziert ist. In dieser Phase wird das Metall zur Ausstoßöffnung 6 hin verlagert, wodurch sich letztere entsprechend verengt.
Die Tiefe der Pressung beträgt normalerweise etwa die Hälfte der Originalstärke der Platte 1, um dem Endprodukt der Kontaktzunge 2 zu erlauben, sich einzubiegen, wenn sie gedrückt wird, bis sie die Pressung selbst ausfüllt, und ohne von der Oberfläche 9 der Platte hervorzuragen, und ohne in die Form, aus der sie während der zweiten Stanzung hervorgegangen ist, zurückzuschnappen, und darin festgehalten zu werden.
Während des Preßarbeitsvorgangs wird also eine Reduzierung der Materialstärke der Platte 1 in Korrespondenz zur Prägung 4 erreicht, sowie in reduzierter Form in dem punkt, zu dem sich auf Grund einer Kavität auf dem Prägestempel das Metall hin verlagert, damit auf der Kontaktzunge 2 der Kontaktknopf 5 geschaffen wird, der dem Kontakt der Zunge selbst mit anderen Körpern dient.
Die Prägung 4 wird in größeren Dimensionen (Länge, Breite) realisiert, als die der zu zu produzierenden flexiblen Kontaktzunge 2, indem sich die Linie, auf der die Prägung für die Kontaktzunge gestanzt wird, im Inneren der Kante 3 befindet, die die Prägung 4 begrenzt, so daß auf diese Weise die Krone 11 mit reduzierter Stärke entsteht.
Der Prägestempel, der die Prägung 4 prägt, soll einen Prägekopf aufweisen, der derart gestaltet ist, daß der Boden der Prägung 4, außer dem vorstehenden Kontaktknopf 5, in gleichmäßiger Stärke ausgeführt wird, wenn eine Zunge gewünscht wird, die auf ihrer gesamten Länge eine konstante Biegefähigkeit aufweisen soll.
Der Prägestempel soll hingegen einen geformten Kopf zur Prägung einer nicht einheitlichen Vertiefung aufweisen, wenn eine Kontaktzunge mit größerer Biegefähigkeit geschaffen werden soll, die in der Lage ist, sich je nach den auf ihrer Länge befindlichen Elementen unterschiedlich zu biegen, so daß eine Kontaktzunge mit minimaler Stärke in Korrespondenz der Punkte entsteht, in der sie die größere Biegekapazität aufweisen soll.
Die Kontaktzunge 2 wird also auf Grund der Stanzung von drei Seiten der Prägung 4 geschaffen, und resultiert damit als eine einseitig befestigte Struktur. Ihre Stanzung erfolgt mittels eines Prägestempels, der von Seite 10 der Platte 1 aus eingesetzt wird, auf der Rückseite der Prägung 4, so daß die scharfe Kante der Kontaktzunge 2 zur Prägung 4 hin ausgerichtet ist, und die scharfe Kante der Platte 1 im Inneren der Prägung 4 verbleibt. Im Falle einer Kontaktzunge 2 mit wenig geringeren Abmessungen als die Prägung 4, wenn also die Krone 11 nur eine minimale Breite aufweist, ist während des Stanzvorgangs nicht unbedingt ein der Grundform genau entsprechender Prägestempel notwendig.
Beim Stanzvorgang wird die Kontaktzunge gegen die Außenseite der Platte 1 gedrückt, ihr Ansatzpunkt bleibt verbunden mit dem Rand der Vertiefung, aus der die Zunge gebildet wurde, und verbleibt in der gewünschten Ruheposition, aus der wenigstens ihr Kontaktknopf 5 aus der Oberfläche 9 herausragt.
Der scharfe Rand der Kontaktzunge 2 bleibt somit von der Materialstärke der Platte 1 geschützt, so daß der Kontakt zwischen scharfem Rand und Bedienungsperson verhindert wird, während die Öffnung von kleiner Abmessung bleibt, und durch das Hineindrücken der Zunge gegen die Prägung 4 fast völlig verschlossen wird.
Die so strukturierte und geformte Kontaktzunge erscheint also als integrierter Bestandteil der Platte 1, weist eine längeliche zentrale Öffnung von kleiner Abmessung auf, die von der Prägung der Platte 1 herrührt, bei der das geprägte Material teilweise die Originalöffnung 6 ausfüllt, verfügt gegen ihren freistehenden und Rand hin über einen hervorstehenden Knopf 5, und ist gegen das Äußere der Prägung 4 hin orientiert.
Bei anderen Ausführungen kann die Kontaktzunge 2 an ihrem freistehenden Ende 8 mehr als einen Kontaktknopf 5 aufweisen. Bei wieder anderen Ausführungen kann die Zunge so geformt sein, daß sie bei Seitenansicht derart über die Platte 1 heraussteht, daß ihr Kontakt mit anderen Körpern erleichtert wird, und daher keine hervorstehenden Kontaktknöpfe notwendig sind.

Claims (10)

  1. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer elastischen und flexiblen Kontaktzunge, die aus einer Platte herausragt, und mit der im Arbeitsbetrieb eine andere Platte und/oder andere in der Nähe befindliche Gegenstände erreicht werden, um mit diesen einen Kontakt herzustellen,
    gekennzeichnet durch:
    eine erste Stanzung, mit der eine Ausstoßöffnung (6) auf der Platte (1) realisiert wird;
    einen Prägevorgang, mit der um die Ausstoßöffnung (6) herum eine Prägung (4) durchgeführt wird, wobei die Stärke der Platte in diesem Bereich reduziert wird, und das Metall sich zur Ausstoßöffnung (6) hin verlagert;
    eine zweite Stanzung, bei der der in seiner Stärke reduzierte Metallbereich von der der Prägung (4) gegenüberliegenden Seite und an der die Zunge (2) definierenden Linie entlang gestanzt wird, derart,
    daß die Kontaktzunge (2) aus der Seite (9) der Platte (1) herausragt, auf der die Prägung (4) entstanden ist.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 zur Herstellung einer elastischen und flexiblen Kontaktzunge,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß beim ersten Stanzvorgang Material zur Herstellung der länglichen Ausstoßöffnung (6) entfernt wird, die sich in Korrespondenz zur Zentralachse der herzustellenden Kontaktzunge (2) befindet.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 zur Herstellung einer elastischen und flexiblen Kontaktzunge,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß das gesamte gepreßte Metall während der Prägung so verformt wird, daß die bei der anschließenden Stanzung gebildete Kontaktzunge (2) um ihre Ruheposition herum flexibel und elastisch wird.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 zur Herstellung einer elastischen und flexiblen Kontaktzunge,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß mit dem Prägearbeitsgang in Korrespondenz zur Obefläche, auf der die Kontaktzunge (2) hergestellt werden soll, eine Prägung (4) geschaffen wird, die normalerweise die Hälfte der Originalstärke der Platte (1) aufweist.
  5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 zur Herstellung einer elastischen und flexiblen Kontaktzunge,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß mit dem Prägearbeitsgang eine Prägung (4) geschaffen wurde, die größer ist als die flexible, zu produzierende Kontaktzunge (2).
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 zur Herstellung einer elastischen und flexiblen Kontaktzunge,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der Prägearbeitsgang von einem Prägekopf ausgeführt wird, der derart geformt ist, daß sich bei der Prägung ein oder mehrere aus der Ebene der Kontaktzunge (2) vorstehende Kontaktknöpfe (5) bilden, wobei der Boden der Prägung (4), außerhalb der Kontaktknöpfe (5) in gleichmäßiger Stärke geprägt wird.
  7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 zur Herstellung einer elastischen und flexiblen Kontaktzunge,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der Prägearbeitsgang von einem Prägekopf ausgeführt wird, der derart geformt ist, daß in Korrespondenz mit den Punkten, an denen die herzustellende Kontaktzunge (2) eine höhere Biegefähigkeit aufweisen soll, geringere Stärken geprägt werden.
  8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 zur Herstellung einer elastischen und flexiblen Kontaktzunge,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der zweite Stanzvorgang, durch den die Kontaktzunge (2) geschaffen wird, mit Hilfe eines Stanzstempels durchgeführt wird, der von der Oberfläche (10) der Platte (1) aus eingesetzt wird, ohne daß eine Grundform verwendet werden muß, die völlig dem Stanzstempel der Prägung (4) entspricht.
  9. Kontaktzunge, hergestellt nach dem Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1 bis 8,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß sie integrierter Teil einer Metallplatte (1) ist, daß sie eine zentrale, längliche Ausstoßöffnung (6) aufweist, und daß sie, wenigstens zum freien Endpunkt (8) hin, von der Platte (1), deren Teil sie ist, hervorsteht.
  10. Kontaktzunge nach Anspruch 9,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß sie in der Nähe ihres freistehenden Endpunktes (8) mit einem oder mehreren hervorstehenden Kontaktknöpfen (5) ausgestattet ist.
