Definitions
- the invention relates to a cross rolling mill for stretching a to forming temperature heated seamless hollow body according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the push bench process is one Another rolling process for the production of seamless hot-finished pipes.
- Producible With this process slugs with a diameter of about 90 to 170 mm are used Wall thicknesses of about 3 - 18 mm with bobbin lengths up to about 18 m.
- Modern Pipe bench systems usually only produce one or two large blank dimensions, where the inner diameter, due to the mandrel diameter, is the same size. Via a downstream stretch-reducing mill, everyone common pipe dimensions down to a smallest outer diameter of about Made 20 mm.
- Square, octagonal or round blocks, rolled, are used as the starting material or increasingly from continuous casting.
- the block will open up after heating Forming temperature in a rotary hearth furnace in the approximately cylindrical die Hole press inserted and through a perforated dome into a thick-walled hollow body (Bottle) formed with bottom.
- the hollow block is over one Mandrel bar stretched to 1.5 to 2 times the length. It takes place with the Reduction also takes place at the same time an equalization of the wall thickness.
- the elongated hollow block (elongated sleeve) is then exposed to the same heat the push bench via a mandrel bar as an internal tool under 10 to 15 times Rolled out to form a slug. After the stretching process, it runs through the Rolled-out mandrel rolled a release roller, so that the mandrel afterwards can be pulled out. Then, using a warm saw Bottom piece and the end of the bowl separated. In a downstream Stretch-reducing mill, the blanks reheated to the forming temperature becomes Rolled tube to its final dimensions (steel tube manual, 10th edition 1986, Vulkan Verlag, pages 137 - 139).
- the stretch-cross roll mill (elongator), which is very similar to an Assel mill usually equipped with three rollers that move around a transport angle Rolling axis are inclined.
- the rollers have a conical shape Inlet and outlet part, whereby between the inlet part and the smallest Rolling gap forming working section of the roller is provided a shoulder.
- the shoulder In When viewed in the direction of the rolling stock, the shoulder has a section a concave curvature and a section with a after a turning point convex curvature.
- the latter section is in two subsections divided with two different radii. The radius of the first subsection is smaller than that of the second subsection and both radii are larger than that Radius of the concave section. Alternatively, the latter section can also have only one radius.
- This known shoulder training has the disadvantage that it is higher on the shoulder Wear occurs and hot cracks often form over the entire shoulder. These cracks can become so large that roller breaks cannot be ruled out. The heavy wear on the shoulder leads to surface defects on the stretched Hollow body.
- the object of the invention is to provide a cross rolling mill for stretching one To specify the forming temperature of the heated seamless hollow body, whose rollers reduced wear on the shoulder have a longer life and with which the Formation of surface defects can be largely avoided.
- the essence of the invention is to be seen in that seen in the direction of rolling stock a smooth transition from the inlet part to the shoulder is provided, so that the compressive stresses and the deformation distribution in the shoulder inlet are changed.
- the second effect that results from this is a lower heat input into the Roller body.
- the advantage of the gradual transition is a reduction in the number of Roller change due to a longer service life of the rollers.
- the cutting depth at the Recalibration can be minimized, so that a longer total Lifetime of the rollers results. As a consequence, this leads to a clear one Reduction of costs for the forming process.
- Another advantage is that it is possible with the proposed calibration of the rollers, different Realize wall reductions without rolling with different shoulder heights to have to use.
- FIG. 2 also shows a longitudinal cross-section of a stretch-cross roll mill designed according to the invention, but with a different dimension of the hollow block 1.2 to be stretched.
- the initial diameter D is 0 248 mm and the initial wall thickness s 0 59 mm.
- the inner tool 5 is the same with a diameter d D of 115 mm.
- the stretching gives the same dimension of the slug 4 with a diameter D 1 of 192 mm and a wall thickness s 1 of 38.5 mm.
- the distance A k from the high point is larger and is 88.8 mm.
- FIG. 3 shows the details of the shoulder region 9 designed according to the invention.
- the shoulder region 9 has a concavely curved section 10 and, after a turning point 11, a convexly curved section which is divided into two subsections 12.1 and 12.2.
- the first convexly curved subsection 12.1 has a radius R 2 that is smaller than the radius R 3 of the subsequent second convexly curved subsection 12.2, both radii R 2 , R 3 being larger than the radius R 1 of the concavely curved section 10.
- R 2 radius of the subsequent second convexly curved subsection 12.2, both radii R 2 , R 3 being larger than the radius R 1 of the concavely curved section 10.
- the angle 15 of this rectilinear section 13 is in the range between 6-16 degrees, preferably ten degrees.
- the radius R 1 of the concavely curved section 10 is less than 1/4 of the radius R 2 of the first convexly curved subsection 12.1.
- the circular arc or construction angle 16 of the concavely curved section 10 is also smaller than according to the known prior art and is in the range between 20 and 35 degrees, preferably 32 degrees.
- the radial extension from the inlet part 7 to the outlet part 8 is identified as the total shoulder height 17. Due to the slowly rising section 13 with the beginning of the concavely curved section 10, a partial shoulder height 18 results up to the outlet part 8.
- the length of the shoulder is divided into a first partial shoulder length 19 and a second partial shoulder length 20, the transition from the first into the second partial shoulder length 19, 20 is located approximately in the middle of the concavely curved section 10.
- FIG. 4 shows a comparison of the shoulder area designed according to the invention 9 with already known shoulder geometries. They are already for identification purposes known designs of the shoulder area 9 with type numbers 1, 2.1, 2.2 and 3 marked. It is crucial that the transition from Inlet part 7 in the shoulder area 9 as a straight section 13 (FIG. 3) is formed and the concavely curved section 10 only a small circular arc or construction angle 16.
