Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung beschreibt einen Verschlußmechanismus, insbesondere für einen Lüfterverschluß eines Innenraumlüfters, bestehend aus einem Rahmenelement und einer Verschlußklappe mit einem Verschlußweg zwischen einem offenen und einem geschlossenen Zustand. Der Verschlußmechanismus weist mindestens einen elastischen Körper (9) auf, welcher an seinem zur Mitte einer zu verschließenden Rahmenöffnung (4) gerichteten Ende fest gelagert und an seinem diesem gegenüberliegenden Ende zwangsgeführt ist. Die Länge des elastischen Körpers ist größer als ein zum Verschlußweg senkrechter Abstand der beiden Körperenden, so daß der elastische Körper (9) bei Krafteinwirkung in Richtung des Verschlußweges (X) von einem formstabilen Zustand nach Überschreitung eines forminstabilen Zustandes in einen zweiten formstabilen Zustand übergeht. Bei dem einen formstabilen Zustand ist die Verschlußklappe (2) geöffnet und bei dem anderen formstabilen Zustand geschlossen.
