Description

Domaine de l'invention
La présente invention s'inscrit dans le domaine des installations destinées à produire des jets d'eau, en particulier les appareils de douche.
Etat de la technique
Les appareils de douche connus comportent une ou plusieurs pommes de douche, quelquefois orientables manuellement, et agencées pour former des jets statiques. Ces appareils connus ne permettent pas à l'ensemble du corps de profiter pleinement des effets thérapeutiques de l'hydromassage car les jets d'eau n'atteignent pas systématiquement et régulièrement les diverses parties du corps. Même une pomme de douche détachable ne peut être manipulée à la main de manière régulière et produire un effet satisfaisant.
Les baignoires du type J-Sha de Jacuzzi comportent une série de petits jets disposés verticalement le long du dos de la baignoire et qui agissent directement sur les zones cervicales, dorsales et lombaires de la colonne vertébrale. Dans ces baignoires les jets sont également statiques et ne permettent pas non plus au corps de profiter pleinement des effets bienfaisants de l'hydromassage car l'effet bienfaisant du jet d'eau vient surtout du mouvement du jet d'eau sur les diverses parties du corps, en particulier le long de la colonne vertébrale (effet stimulant ou calmant).
Cette sensation est fonction de la vitesse, de la direction, du sens du mouvement du jet d'eau par rapport au corps. Elle est aussi fonction de la réceptivité, de la sensibilité de chaque individu, d'où l'importance d'un espace douche suffisamment grand pour permettre la liberté de mouvement du corps sous le jet en mouvement.
Par le document US-A-5.321.860 est connu un appareil de douche comprenant un corps portant une pomme de douche agencée pour produire au moins un jet d'eau, et comportant des moyens pour imprimer audit corps un mouvement d'oscillation, le corps étant monté dans un bâti de support et comprenant un premier élément agencé pour pivoter autour d'un premier axe de pivotement. Cet appareil de douche connu ne permet pas non plus de profiter pleinement des effets bienfaisants et thérapeutiques de l'hydromassage car, bien qu'il lui soit imprimé un mouvement d'oscillation, le jet d'eau ne peut cependant se mouvoir de manière régulière sur les diverses parties du corps de l'individu qui s'expose au jet, en particulier le long de la colonne vertébrale de l'utilisateur.
Exposé de l'invention
L'invention a pour but de créer un appareil à douche oscillante qui permette à l'ensemble du corps de l'utilisateur de profiter pleinement des effets bienfaisants et thérapeutiques de l'hydromassage.
Un autre but de l'invention est de créer un appareil à douche oscillante agencé pour générer un jet d'eau ayant un mouvement continu dans l'espace.
Un autre but encore de l'invention est de créer un appareil à douche oscillante agencé pour générer un jet d'eau dont le mouvement dans l'espace est réglable par l'utilisateur.
Ces buts sont atteints grâce à l'invention, par un appareil comprenant un corps portant une pomme de douche pour générer au moins un jet d'eau, dans lequel le corps pivotant comprend un premier élément agencé pour pivoter autour d'un premier axe de pivotement, des moyens agencés sur l'élément pivotant précité pour définir un deuxième axe de pivotement transversal au premier axe de pivotement, et un deuxième élément agencé pour pivoter autour du deuxième axe de pivotement, ledit deuxième élément du corps portant la pomme de douche, l'appareil comportant en outre des moyens pour imprimer au corps un mouvement d'oscillation autour de chaque axe de pivotement. Le corps pivotant peut être réalisé dans divers modes d'exécution dont trois sont décrits plus loin à titre d'exemples non limitatifs.
Chaque mouvement d'oscillation peut être commandé individuellement en vitesse et en amplitude, ce qui permet de faire varier en continu la direction du jet d'eau dans l'espace et de créer ainsi une variation infinie de la trajectoire du jet d'eau pendant la douche. Ce réglage de la vitesse et de l'amplitude des mouvements d'oscillation ainsi que leur séquencement dans le temps sont avantageusement programmés par microprocesseur.
Grâce à l'invention, la pomme de douche se trouve entraínée dans un mouvement d'oscillation dans l'espace, qui varie selon la programmation de commande choisie. Ceci a pour effet de créer un jet d'eau variable en direction dans l'espace, ce qui génère un large éventail de trajectoires du jet d'eau selon la programmation choisie. Cet éventail de possibilités peut comprendre aussi bien des trajectoires définies préalablement programmées que des enchaínements de trajectoires que peut déterminer l'utilisateur lui-même. Les effets de l'hydromassage se trouvent ainsi renforcés, favorisant de la sorte l'effet thérapeutique bienfaisant de la douche.

    Description de modes de réalisation de l'invention
    Un premier mode de réalisation est illustré sur les figures 1 à 5. L'appareil est monté dans un bâti de support 10 et comporte un cadre pivotant 11 monté de manière à pouvoir pivoter autour d'un axe de pivotement vertical V-V. Dans le mode de réalisation illustré, le cadre pivotant comporte deux branches 11c qui se développent en forme d'arceau entre deux têtes 11a et 11b communes. La forme générale du cadre 11 est bien visible sur la figure 3. Ces têtes du cadre 11 sont agencées pour pouvoir pivoter autour d'un axe de pivotement vertical V-V. Chaque branche du cadre pivotant présente un bras 11d en saillie qui sert de support à un axe 12 définissant un deuxième axe de pivotement H-H, transversal au premier axe de pivotement V-V. L'axe 12 est attaché à chacun des bras par un palier lisse ou un roulement à billes 14. A l'axe 12 est attachée une pomme de douche 20 laquelle, dans le mode de réalisation illustré à titre d'exemple, est constituée d'une coquille hémisphérique à la surface de laquelle débouche en 22 un conduit d'arrivée d'eau 24 (visible en figure 2), raccordé à un circuit d'amenée d'eau 25 dans lequel est insérée une électrovanne 26.
    La commande des mouvements de pivotement du cadre 11 se fait par des moteurs électriques, par exemple des moteurs pas-à-pas ou à courant continu. Pour la commande du pivotement autour de l'axe V-V, le cadre 11 porte un secteur 13 qui se trouve couplé à un moteur électrique 15. La rotation de l'axe 12 autour de l'axe de pivotement H-H est commandée par deux moteurs électriques 16 par l'intermédiaire de roues dentées 17-19.
    Lorsque les moteurs sont mis en marche, le cadre pivotant 11 oscille horizontalement, par exemple dans un angle ayant une ouverture de 45° environ, tandis que l'axe 12 portant la coquille hémisphérique 20 oscille verticalement, par exemple dans un angle ayant une ouverture de 80° environ. La coquille hémisphérique oscille ainsi dans l'espace, dirigeant le jet d'eau successivement dans différentes directions dans l'espace. A une distance de 60 cm de la pomme de douche, le jet d'eau peut ainsi balayer une zone d'action s'étendant du cou aux genoux d'un utilisateur et cela sur toute la largeur du tronc de l'utilisateur. Ceci permet au corps de l'utilisateur de profiter pleinement des effets bienfaisants et/ou thérapeutiques de la douche.
    La vitesse et l'amplitude de chaque mouvement d'oscillation et leur séquencement dans le temps peuvent être réglés individuellement. Ceci permet d'obtenir une infinie variation de la trajectoire du jet d'eau dans l'espace pendant la douche. Le réglage des paramètres des mouvements d'oscillation est avantageusement programmé par un microprocesseur.
    Afin de permettre à l'extrémité du conduit d'eau 24 de suivre les mouvements d'oscillation de la pomme de douche, le conduit d'eau comporte ou est raccordé à au moins une partie 23 souple ou conformée de manière à présenter une souplesse suffisante.
    Le signe de référence 27 sur les dessins désigne un panneau frontal fixe et le signe de référence 28 désigne un joint d'étanchéité.
    Bien que l'appareil soit représenté en figure 5, monté dans un coin, il est évident qu'il peut être monté sur un mur plan. De plus, il est clair que l'appareil peut être monté non seulement de manière fixe mais également de manière à pouvoir coulisser le long d'une structure rigide.
    Il est entendu que le cadre pivotant 11 peut être réalisé dans un mode d'exécution différent de celui illustré à titre d'exemple aux figures 1 à 5. De même, il va de soi que les axes de pivotement transversaux aménagés sur le cadre pivotant peuvent être intervertis par rapport à ceux que déterminent les agencements illustrés aux figures 1 à 5.
    Les figures 6 à 10 illustrent un deuxième exemple de réalisation de l'invention. Ce mode de réalisation est analogue à celui décrit ci-avant mais utilise un cadre pivotant 11 dans une variante d'exécution. Dans ce mode d'exécution, les têtes 11a et 11b du cadre 11, bien visibles sur la figure 8, sont courbes et sont montées pour coulisser le long de deux rails de guidage 13 en arc de cercle dont la courbure est déterminée de manière que leurs centres de courbure soient situés sur un même axe vertical qui définit l'axe de pivotement V-V.
    L'axe de pivotement H-H est réalisé, comme dans l'exemple précédemment décrit, par un axe horizontal 12 qui est porté par les deux bras 11d faisant saillie sur les branches en arceau 11c. L'axe de pivotement H-H croise l'axe de pivotement V-V de manière à fixer un point de pivotement central, fixe dans l'espace, autour duquel oscille la coquille pomme de douche 20.
    Les figures 11 à 13 illustrent un troisième exemple de mode de réalisation de l'invention. Dans cet exemple, l'appareil comporte deux cadres pivotants. Un premier cadre 31 est monté de manière à pouvoir pivoter autour d'un premier axe de pivotement V-V, défini par des paliers lisses ou des roulements à billes 33 attachés à un bâti de support 10. Un deuxième cadre 32 est monté de manière à pouvoir pivoter autour d'un deuxième axe de pivotement H-H transversal au premier axe de pivotement et défini par des paliers lisses ou des roulements à billes 34 attachés au cadre 31. Chacun des cadres 31 et 32 est couplé à des moteurs 35 et 36 par l'intermédiaire de roues dentées 37 et 38.
    La pomme de douche 42 est attachée au cadre 32 et est raccordée au conduit d'arrivée d'eau 24. La pomme de douche 42 est reliée à une plaque couvre-joint 41 par un soufflet d'étanchéité 43.
    Lorsque les moteurs sont mis en marche, le cadre pivotant 31 oscille horizontalement autour de l'axe de pivotement V-V, par exemple dans un angle ayant une ouverture de 45° environ et le cadre pivotant 32 portant la pomme de douche 42 oscille verticalement autour de l'axe de pivotement H-H, par exemple dans un angle ayant une ouverture de 80° environ. La pomme de douche se trouve ainsi orientée de manière variable dans l'espace, dirigeant le jet d'eau successivement dans différentes directions dans l'espace. Comme indiqué plus haut à propos du premier exemple de réalisation décrit, à une distance de 60 cm de la pomme de douche, le jet d'eau peut ainsi balayer une zone d'action qui s'étend du cou aux genoux de l'utilisateur et cela sur toute la largeur du tronc de celui-ci, procurant de la sorte à l'utilisateur tous les effets bienfaisants et/ou thérapeutiques de la douche.
    Tout comme dans le mode de réalisation précédent, les axes de pivotement transversaux aménagés sur les éléments constituant le cadre pivotant peuvent être intervertis par rapport à ceux qui sont prévus dans l'agencement illustré aux figures 11 à 13.
    Grâce à une programmation réglable des paramètres (vitesse et amplitude) des mouvements d'oscillation et leur séquencement dans le temps, l'invention permet d'obtenir une variation infinie de trajectoires du jet d'eau dans l'espace pendant la douche, et ce au gré de l'utilisateur lui-même de manière qu'il puisse profiter pleinement, à sa convenance, des effets de la douche sur le corps.
    La programmation des paramètres des mouvements d'oscillations dans l'espace est avantageusement réalisée par un microprocesseur. La figure 14 est un schéma général de la commande programmée de l'appareil de douche suivant l'invention. Le microprocesseur 45 communique avec des dispositifs de commande 46 qui entraínent les moteurs pas-à-pas contrôlant le mouvement de pivotement horizontal du cadre pivotant et le mouvement de pivotement vertical de la pomme de douche. Le microprocesseur commande également un relais 47 contrôlant une électrovanne 26 insérée dans le circuit d'amenée d'eau 25. Le microprocesseur 45 reçoit les ordres de réglage des paramètres des mouvements d'oscillation du jet d'eau d'un tableau de commande 48 sur lequel sont signalées les valeurs de réglage des oscillations ainsi que les types de trajectoire de jet d'eau définis ou à définir.
    Pour utiliser l'appareil de douche suivant l'invention, l'utilisateur choisit lui-même sur le tableau de commande 48 le mode d'action souhaité parmi les options disponibles et les paramètres des mouvements d'oscillation du jet d'eau dans l'espace.
    L'organigramme de la figure 15 illustre à titre d'exemple un mode de réalisation pour la commande d'un appareil de douche suivant l'invention lors de la mise sous tension de l'appareil.
    Dans cet exemple, après le centrage du jet d'eau le dispositif est organisé pour permettre d'appeler trois modes d'action. Les étapes de la commande sont décrites ci-après.
    Etape 110 : Choix d'un mode d'action mémorisé
    Dans ce mode d'action, les trajectoires du jet d'eau s'effectuent suivant des paramètres mémorisés antérieurement par l'utilisateur.
    Etape 112 : Désignation des actions dynamique et/ou statique définies et mémorisées par l'utilisateur.
    Etape 114 : Action désignée.
    Etape 120 : Choix d'un mode d'action dynamique
    Dans ce mode d'action, le jet d'eau suit des trajectoires définies par le constructeur sur la base de paramètres que règle l'utilisateur.
    Etape 122 : Désignation des trajectoires définies par le constructeur avec définition des paramètres pour une action dynamique. Ces paramètres se rapportent par exemple aux données suivantes :

    Etape 130 : Choix d'un mode d'action statique
    Dans ce mode d'action, le jet d'eau se trouve figé dans l'espace avec une orientation et pendant un laps de temps déterminé choisis par l'utilisateur.
    Etape 132 : Définition de la position du jet d'eau dans le plan vertical et dans le plan horizontal, et définition du temps d'action.
    Etape 134 : Choix d'une mémorisation ou non de la position du jet d'eau et du temps d'action définis à l'étape 132.
    Etape 136 : Mise en mémoire.
    Etape 138 : Action désignée.
    Etape 140 : Commande des parties mécaniques et hydrauliques pour l'action désignée.
    Une fois les réglages effectués par l'utilisateur, le cycle d'action choisi se déroule sous la direction programmée du microprocesseur.
    L'exemple de commande d'action décrit ci-avant montre le large éventail de mouvements du jet d'eau dans l'espace que permet de réaliser l'invention au choix de l'utilisateur. Cet éventail de possibilités peut comprendre aussi bien des trajectoires définies préalablement programmées (par exemple trajectoires aléatoires en dents de scie uniformes ou variables, en boucles successives interrompues ou non, en spirale, etc) que des enchaínements de trajectoires que détermine l'utilisateur lui-même. L'effet de l'hydromassage peut ainsi, grâce à l'invention, être optimisé au gré de chaque utilisateur.
    La commande programmée de la trajectoire du jet d'eau suivant l'invention peut avantageusement se compléter d'un réglage du débit d'eau en fonction de la direction du jet et/ou d'un réglage de la température de l'eau du jet.
    Il est bien entendu que les modes de réalisation décrits dans ce qui précède et illustrés dans les dessins joints sont simplement des exemples donnés pour illustrer les principes de l'invention et que celle-ci n'est nullement limitée à ces exemples. Toute variante ou modification d'exécution doit être considérée comme comprise dans le cadre de l'invention définie dans les revendications.

    Claims (14)

    1. Appareil de douche comprenant un corps pivotant portant une pomme de douche agencée pour produire au moins un jet d'eau, et comportant des moyens pour imprimer au corps un mouvement d'oscillation, le corps étant monté dans un bâti de support (10) et comprenant un premier élément (11, 31) agencé pour pivoter autour d'un premier axe de pivotement (par exemple V-V), caractérisé en ce que le corps pivotant comprend des moyens (14, 34) agencés sur l'élément pivotant précité pour définir un deuxième axe de pivotement (par exemple H-H) transversal au premier axe de pivotement, et un deuxième élément (12, 32) attaché aux moyens (14, 34) précités de manière à pouvoir pivoter autour du deuxième axe de pivotement (par exemple H-H), le deuxième élément pivotant précité portant la pomme de douche (20, 42), et en ce que l'appareil comporte des moyens pour imprimer au corps un mouvement d'oscillation autour de chaque axe de pivotement.
    2. Appareil suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le premier élément pivotant comprend un cadre (11) comportant deux têtes (11a, 11b) montées pour pivoter autour d'un premier axe de pivotement (par exemple V-V) et un bras (11d) servant de support au deuxième élément pivotant (12) portant la pomme de douche.
    3. Appareil suivant la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que les têtes (11a, 11b) du cadre pivotant (11) sont fixées à un moyen de pivotement (13) commandé par un moyen d'entraínement (15) pour imprimer au cadre (11) un mouvement de pivotement autour du premier axe de pivotement précité.
    4. Appareil suivant la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que les têtes (11a, 11b) du cadre pivotant (11) sont agencées pour coulisser le long de guides (13) fixés à des moyens de support (10), les guides ayant une courbure dont le centre est de préférence situé sur le deuxième axe de rotation.
    5. Appareil suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la pomme de douche (20) est constituée d'une coquille à la surface de laquelle débouche le conduit d'arrivée d'eau.
    6. Appareil suivant la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la coquille (20) précitée a une forme pratiquement hémisphérique.
    7. Appareil suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le premier élément pivotant comprend un premier cadre (31) agencé pour pivoter autour d'un premier axe de rotation (par exemple V-V),
      des moyens (34) agencés sur le premier cadre pivotant pour définir un deuxième axe de rotation (par exemple H-H) transversal audit premier axe, et en ce que le deuxième élément pivotant comprend un deuxième cadre attaché de manière à pouvoir osciller autour du deuxième axe de rotation (H-H), ledit deuxième cadre portant la pomme de douche (42).
    8. Appareil suivant la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la pomme de douche (42) est reliée à un élément fixe de l'appareil par l'intermédiaire d'un élément déformable (43).
    9. Appareil de douche suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les moyens pour imprimer les mouvements d'oscillations au cadre pivotant sont constitués par des moteurs pas-à-pas ou à courant continu.
    10. Appareil de douche suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les moyens pour imprimer les mouvements d'oscillations aux éléments pivotants sont commandés par un microprocesseur.
    11. Appareil de douche suivant la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce que le microprocesseur est dirigé par un programme pour régler la vitesse, l'amplitude et autres paramètres des mouvements d'oscillation des éléments pivotants du corps de l'appareil.
    12. Appareil suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 11 et 12, caractérisé en ce que le microprocesseur commande une électrovanne insérée dans le circuit d'alimentation en eau.
    13. Appareil de douche suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 10 à 12, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un tableau de commande pour modifier le programme de réglage et contrôler les paramètres des mouvements d'oscillation et/ou les types de trajectoire du jet d'eau dans l'espace.
    14. Appareil de jet d'eau comprenant un corps agencé pour lancer au moins un jet d'eau dans l'espace, caractérisé en ce que le corps est agencé comme décrit dans l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes.
