Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Ansteuerung mindestens eines Haltestellen-Displays (1), bei dem ein Fahrzeug (2) die aktuelle Position (x1) an eine Steuerzentrale übermittelt, welche die voraussichtliche Wartezeit (tw) bis zum Eintreffen des Fahrzeuges (2) an der Haltestelle (x2) berechnet, und das Haltestellen-Display (1) zur visuellen Signalisierung dieser Wartezeit (tw) ansteuert. Zur Verbesserung der Genauigkeit der angezeigten Wartezeit (tw) ist vorgesehen, daß die Wartezeit (tw) in Abhängigkeit von der Trendlinie der tatsächlichen Fahrzeiten (t1, t2, ...tm, tm+1,...tn) einer Anzahl (n) unmittelbar vorher gefahrener Fahrzeuge (3, 4, ...) berechnet wird.
