Abstract

Die Spindelspinn- oder Zwirnvorrichtung enthält eine angetriebene Spindel (4), einen ebenfalls angetriebenen Ballonbegrenzer (6) mit einer inneren Arbeitsoberfläche (17) für die Berührung mit dem Garn (P) und eine ortsfest angeordnete Begrenzungswand (25) für eine rotierende offene Schlinge (18). Die Begrenzungswand (25) ist in koaxialer Beziehung zu der Spindel (4) angeordnet und mit radialem Abstand umschließt sie das untere Ende des Ballonbegrenzers (6). Zwecks Erhöhung der Stabilität des Spinn-oder Zwirnverfahrens ist mindestens auf einem Teil der Begrenzungswand (25) eine Gleitfläche (26) vorgesehen, die sich vom Bereich der ersten Berührung des Garns (P) in Richtung zum unteren Ende der Begrenzungswand (25) von der Achse (7) der Spindel (4) entfernt.
