Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Abgasrückführungseinrichtung einer insbesondere abgasturboaufgeladenen Brennkraftmaschine, bei der das Abgas von einer mit den Auslaßkanälen des Zylinderkopfs der Brennkraftmaschine verbundenen Abgassammelleitung in Strömungsrichtung vor der Turbine des Abgasturboladers durch eine Abgasrückführleitung mit einem eingeschalteten Rückschlagventil einer Ladeluftleitung hinter dem Verdichter des Abgasturboladers zuführbar ist und in die Abgasrückführleitung weiterhin ein Abgasrückführsteuerventil eingeschaltet ist. Bei einem derartigen bekannten System ist direkt an die Abgassammelleitung ein Rückschlagventil angeordnet, dessen Ausgang in die Abgasrückführleitung einmündet. Die Abgasrückführleitung mündet in die Ladeluftleitung, wobei in die Abgasrückführleitung weiterhin noch ein Abgasrückführsteuerungsventil eingesetzt ist. Gesteuert wird die Abgasrückführrate in erster Linie durch das als Flatterventil ausgebildete Rückschlagventil in Abhängigkeit des Abgasdruckes.
Gegenüber diesem Stand der Technik ist das erfindungsgemäße Abgasrückführungssystem dadurch verbessert, daß die Temperatur des Abgases in der Abgasrückführleitung 14 in Strömungsrichtung vor dem Rückschlagventil 18 erfaßt und einem Steuergerät 15 zugeführt wird. Dadurch ist beispielsweise das Abgasrückführsteuerventil 17 in Abhängigkeit einer vorgebbaren Grenztemperatur des Abgases regelbar schließbar.
