Definitions
- the present invention relates to a suction device for a colon coating system according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- a paste is first applied in a punctiform manner to a material web at regular intervals, and then a powder is sprinkled over it, which means that the paste spots or humps as well as their intermediate areas are at least partially coated with the powder.
- the aim of the double-point coating is, however, to produce webs which have at least on one upper side individual knobs or points consisting of a paste and powder sprinkled over them and bonded to the paste, the web remaining uncoated in the areas between the individual knobs or points. For this reason, suction devices are used which suck off unconnected powder from the material web.
- a suction device in which the Material web is carried out under a powder suction element, which sucks up the loose powder.
- Material web before and after the powder suction element are two Suction nozzles arranged, which the web from the bottom suck in here and give a train on the web.
- the direction of movement in front of the powder suction element is one Tapping roller arranged by a rotational movement tapping on the underside of the web and thereby poses the powder before it is removed from the powder suction element recorded and for other use or is drawn off for disposal.
- This preferably has Suction roll over at least one blow nozzle to powder whirl up or keep in the balance.
- At least one further suction roller arranged in front of the powder suction element on the direction of movement of the web.
- To glue the suction roller to prevent is to remove powder deposits a squeegee or at least one blow nozzle on the suction roll available.
- the advantage of the blow nozzle is that it is in the Can be arranged inside the suction roller, so that the suction openings let the roller clean by blowing it out.
- a web 1 is shown, which of a Coating system coming in punctiform form with a paste 2 and has been coated with powder 3 sprinkled over it and now to remove the excess, not with the Paste 2 associated powder 3 'through a colon suction device is promoted according to the invention.
- the for this used means are known and are therefore neither here shown still described.
- the double-point suction device is constructed as follows, the individual elements being described in the transport direction of the material web: A control element 11, for example a UV lamp, is arranged on the coated top of the web 1. This is followed by a powder suction element 4 with a suction channel 40 and a control 16 and then an air curtain nozzle 10. On the underside of the web and at a distance from the powder suction element, there is a first rotatable tapping roller 8, which in this example has a square cross section. This is followed by a first suction roller 5 in the form of a perforated roller and a second tapping roller 9, likewise with a square cross section. All known means can be used as tapping rollers, which exert a tapping movement on the material web. Other cross-sectional shapes of the tapping roller are possible.
- a second suction roller 6 arranged, which is adjustable in height. Preferably it is arranged higher than the first suction roller 5 so that the Goods web goes through a survey.
- a third suction roller 7 available which is preferably at least approximately same height as the first suction roller 5 and equally spaced is arranged to the second suction roller 6.
- All suction rollers 5, 6, 7 are preferably formed by perforated template rollers, in the cavity of which a negative pressure is present. However, other rotating rollers which achieve the most uniform suction possible can also be used. The suction effect is regulated by means of control elements 13, 14. All suction rollers 5, 6, 7 preferably have the same diameter, with at least the second suction roller 6 arranged below the powder suction element 4 being adjustable in height. Since the suction rolls 5, 6, 7 are rotatably mounted, they rotate with the web 1 or they further convey the web 1 lying thereon.
- the uppermost point of the surface of the suction rollers 5, 6, 7 rises above the main spreading plane of the web 1, the first and third suction rollers 5, 7, also called conveyor rollers, achieve only a slight elevation of the web 1, for example in the order of magnitude the coating thickness.
- the web 1 to be suctioned is first over the first Tapping roller 8 passed, which a tapping movement on the Exercises underside of the web 1 and loosens the powder.
- the web 1 then runs over the first suction roll 6, the web 1 preferably slightly raised becomes.
- the second tapping roller 9 dissolves the excess powder definitely from web 1 and swirls it up.
- the second suction roll 6 becomes the web 1 in the direction Powder suction element 4 raised, which over the suction channel 40 sucks off the excess powder 3 '. Thanks to the control element 11 it can be seen whether this is not connected Powder 3 'has actually been whirled up.
- Air curtain nozzle 10 controlled by a valve 15 forms escaping air a barrier that prevents whirled up Powder can pass through the powder suction element 4 and then again reflected on the web 1.
- the web 1, which the powder suction element 4th has happened, is now conveyed via the third suction roller 7 and for further processing in the next processing station headed.
- FIGS. 2a and 2b A special embodiment is shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b a first suction roller 5 or conveyor roller, which in the direction of movement of the web 1 in front of the powder suction element 4 is arranged. It has a hollow roller tube 50 on, which has suction openings distributed over the surface and is preferably made of metal. Preferably the suction openings are a fine grid of holes with hole sizes of approximately 1000 ⁇ m and 11 mesh (holes per inch length).
- the roller tube 50 is at both ends known means stored and is also by means known drive means, not shown here, to the Center axis rotatable.
- This roller tube 50 is preferably from a suction channel 51 made of metal, which is stored in the roller tube 50 is.
- the suction channel 51 preferably projects from both sides of the Roller tube 50 out, being at a first end at a outer connecting pipe 52, shown here with a round cross section, is connected and closed at its second end is trained.
- the suction channel 52 preferably has a square cross-section, with a side surface at least approximately parallel to the plane of the web 1 runs and its diagonal in the area of the first end almost corresponds to the diameter of the roller tube 50.
- the suction channel 51 narrows towards the second end, the top of the web 1 facing at least runs approximately horizontally and also its width in remains essentially unchanged.
- a downwardly extending support member 55 is arranged, which the support of the suction channel 51 to a further below described blow pipe 56 or other solid element serves.
- the suction channel 51 is thus on the one hand by the Connection pipe 52 and on the other hand through the support element 55 held in place, the roller tube 50 around the stable Suction channel 51 is rotatable.
- a rounded slide instead of the support member 55 present, which is arranged on the underside of the suction channel 51 and which is form-fitting, but sliding on the Inside of the roller tube 50 rests.
- the upper side of the suction channel 51 that is executed toward the web 1 has a suction opening 54 which is at least approximately extends over the entire length of the roller tube 50 and which is at least approximately parallel to the tangent t of the in each case the highest point of the roller tube 50.
- This suction opening is along both sides of it entire length surrounded by labyrinth-like lamellae 53, which are arranged on the top of the suction channel 51 and contact the inside of the roller tube 50 and sprung over this inside.
- these slats 53 made of metal. Im through the slats 53 formed suction space 54, a negative pressure is generated.
- a Material web 1 which is conveyed via the suction roller 5 sucked in via the hole pattern of the roller tube 1, the Rotational movement of the suction roller 5 the web 1 without draw promoted.
- a blow tube 56 is also located within the roller tube 50 arranged in a stable position. It is in the direction of rotation the suction roller 5 after the suction chamber 54. In this example it is arranged below the suction channel 51.
- This blowgun 56 is at a first end with a connecting pipe 57 connected, at the second end it is complete. It is with known means, which are inside and / or outside the Roller tube 50 are arranged, stored.
- the blowpipe 56 has blowing openings at least approximately over its entire length on, which are executed to the roller tube 50. Air escapes through the perforated grid of the roller tube 50 blown and thereby removes any sticky that Roller sticking powder.
- the blow pipe 56 thus acts as Cleaning supplies.
- the blowpipe 56 can be use other cleaning agents, for example one on the Doctor blade acting on the outside of the roller tube 50.
- the third suction roller 7 or conveyor roller, which is the powder suction element 4 follows is in a preferred embodiment constructed essentially identically to that above described first suction roller 5. However, it has none Blow nozzle as it is hardly contaminated by loose powder is exposed.
- FIG. 3a and 3b is a second suction roll 6 or Back-up roller shown. It is also essentially identical constructed like the second suction roller 5 described above.
- a blowing element in the form of a blowing tube 66 is present, which is now not for cleaning but for detachment of the excess powder 3 'is used. It is therefore not after the intake chamber but in front of this or as shown here, preferably arranged in this.
- the blow pipe 66 with a oval cross-section, and its connecting tube 67 with a round is the blow pipe 66 with a oval cross-section, and its connecting tube 67 with a round.
- the blow pipe 66 in turn has blow openings, which are executed to the roller tube 60.
- the second Suction roll 7, the blow openings or nozzles are preferred vertically upwards or to the powder suction element executed. Air is blown through the blower openings and the hole pattern of the roller tube 50 blown through the web 1. As a result, excess powder that is not combined becomes longer pending and still on the web 1 powder lying on top is whirled up. Not connected, Excess powder 3 'can thus be better removed from the powder suction element 4 capture and suction from the web 1.
- the support roller 6 is raised, so that the web at Funding is raised over this roller, so the open Gaps between the individual paste humps and from the Powder blown on the back dissolves more easily.
- the support and conveyor rollers described above can be insert individually. To the efficiency of the suction device To optimize, however, they are used in combination.

Abstract
