Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Stangenmagazin aus Kunststoff, wie es die Anmelderin für Maschinenpistolen, Schnellfeuergewehre o. dgl. herstellt.
Bei Mehrlade-Handfeuerwaffen ist es stets von höchster Wichtigkeit, daß der Schütze ständig darüber informiert ist, wieviele Patronen ihm noch zur Verfügung stehen. Dies gilt besonders für Schnellfeuerwaffen.
Es ist bekannt, Stangenmagazine mit einer Reihe von Bohrungen oder mit einem Schlitz zu versehen. Diese Maßnahme ermöglicht es, rasch den Ladezustand des Magazins zu überprüfen. Da diese Magazine sich beim Gebrauch der Waffe völlig im Inneren des Magazinschachtes befinden, kann kein Schmutz durch die genannten Öffnungen eindringen.
Schwieriger ist der Fall bei Magazinen von Schnellfeuerwaffen. Dort befinden sich die Magazine beim Gebrauch der Waffe nämlich mit dem größten Teil ihrer Länge außerhalb des Magazinschachtes, so daß Schmutz durch mögliche Magazinöffnungen ungehindert eindringen kann. Bei solchen Magazinen hat man daher entweder völlig auf Magazinöffnungen verzichtet oder man hat die Öffnunan das äußerste Magazinende verlegt, so daß sie bei vollem Magazin von dessen Zubringer verdeckt sind. Der Schütze kann dann aber nur feststellen, daß sein Magazin nicht mehr voll ist, nicht aber, wie weit es noch gefüllt ist.
Dasselbe Problem liegt nicht nur bei Stangenmagazinen oder Tellermagazinen vor, sondern auch bei einer Gurttrommel zur Aufnahme eines Patronengurtes: dort wurde neuerdings vorgeschlagen, einen Sichtschlitz in der Wand der Gurttrommel mit einer Platte aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff abzudecken. Allerdings ist der Sichtschlitz aus Gründen der Festigkeit von Stegen übergriffen, obwohl die Trommelwände nicht die Kraft einer Zubringerfeder zu übertragen haben, wie dies bei Magazinen der Fall ist. Außerdem ist die als Sichtfenster dienende Kunststoffplatte beim Gebrauch der Waffe geschützt. Wenn die Gurttrommel in die zugehörige Waffe eingesetzt ist, befindet sich die Kunststoffplatte nämlich nahe dem Waffengehäuse.
Bei einem Stangenmagazin aus Blech ist nicht zu erwarten, daß ein solches Fenster ohne ernsthafte Beeinträchtigung der Festigkeit realisierbar wäre. Außerdem darf die durchsichtige Platte eines solchen Fensters auf der Innenseite des Magazins keinesfalls überstehen. Andernfalls könnte sich der Zubringer oder eine Patrone an der Platte verfangen.
Allenfalls wäre daran zu denken, eine solche Platte auf der Magazinaußenseite über kleine Öffnungen in der Magazinwand aufzukleben. Jedoch ist damit zu rechnen, daß diese außen aufgeklebten Platten der rauhen Behandlung, der Magazine im Einsatz ausgesetzt sind, nicht lange widerstehen werden.
Ausgehend von dieser Problemlage liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Stangenmagazin, insbesondere für Schnellfeuerwaffen, zu schaffen, dessen Ladezustand der Schütze ohne weiteres erkennen kann.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß man ein Magazin auswählt, das aus Kunststoff besteht, daß ein Schlitz in der Seitenwand des Magazins ausgebildet ist, und daß eine Platte aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff in den Schlitz eingesetzt ist. Ähnliche Magazine sind aus der FR-A-2 067 098 und der DE-A 2 247 698 bekannt.
Es wäre zunächst naheliegend gewesen, ein Kunststoffmagazin zu wählen, das insgesamt aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff hergestellt ist. Ein solches Kunststoffmagazin ist bereits bekannt. Es ermöglicht aber auch anderen Personen, den Ladezustand der Waffe ohne weiteres zu erkennen: wenn etwa im Polizeieinsatz aus Sicherheitsgründen ungeladene Waffen eingesetzt werden, dann erkennt auch ein Störer diesen Umstand und macht ihn sich zunutze. Oft muß das Magazin aber auch aus einem Werkstoff bestehen, bei dem die Transparenz nicht möglich ist.
Die Anbringung der durchsichtigen Platte aus Kunststoff, gegebenenfalls auch aus Sicherheitsglas oder einem anderen durchsichtigen Material, im Schlitz und nicht etwa auf diesen aufgeklebt, ermöglicht eine weitgehend absatzfreie Innenoberfläche des Magazins, so daß das Zubringen der Patronen nicht beeinträchtigt wird.
Der Schlitz selbst kann jede geeignete Form aufweisen. Er kann auch rund sein. Ebenso sind mehrere solcher Schlitze denkbar. Bevorzugt ist der Schlitz jedoch länglich ausgebildet und erstreckt sich parallel zur Höhenstreckung des Stangen-Magazins sowie über einen erheblichen Teil der Höhe des Magazins. Bei gekrümmten Magazinen kann auch der Schlitz gekrümmt sein.
Die durchsichtige Platte ist bündig in die Seitenwand des Magazins eingelassen, so daß sich auf der Innenseite des Magazins eine durchgehende, glatte Oberfläche darbietet, welche die best-mögliche Funktion des Magazins gewährleistet.
Dagegen läßt man, die durchsichtige Platte auf der Außenoberfläche der Magazin-Seitenwand ein wenig überstehen, so daß sie, falls sie verschmutzt ist, leicht mit dem Finger abgewischt und so gereinigt werden kann.
Die durchsichtige Platte weist an ihrer Umfangskante bevorzugt eine umlaufende Nut oder einen umlaufenden Steg auf. Die Kunststoff-Seitenwand so ausgebildet, daß sie in die Nut eingreift oder den Steg beidseitig umgreift. Natürlich sind ist in diesem Fall die Nut oder der Steg deutlich schmaler als die Wandstärke der Magazin-Seitenwand aus Kunststoff.
Die Platte sitzt somit formschlüssig in der Magazinwand und kann aus dieser nicht entfernt werden; auch nicht versehentlich.
Das Gehäuse des erfindungsgemäßen Magazins wird im Verbundguß hergestellt. Dabei wird entweder die Platte in die Form eingelegt und das Magazingehäuse um die Platte herumgespritzt, oder es wird das Blech- oder Kunststoffgehäuse in die Form eingelegt und der Schlitz mit durchsichtigem Kunststoff ausgespritzt.
Die hier als "Seitenwand" bezeichnete Wand des Magazins kann auch seine Rück- oder Frontwand sein; ebenso können in dieser Seitenwand oder in mehreren Seitenwänden mehrere runde oder unrunde, bevorzugt längliche Sichtschlitze ausgebildet sein.
Der Gegenstand der Erfindung wird anhand eines in der beigefügten, schematischen Zeichnung dargestellten Beispiels noch näher erläutert. In der Zeichnung zeigen:
Fig. 1
ein erfindungsgemäßes Stangenmagazin für eine Maschinenpistole in Seitenansicht; und
Fig. 2
einen Querschnitt längs der Linie II-II in Fig. 1.
Das Magazin 1 ist für eine Maschinenpistole eingerichtet und weist ein Gehäuse aus Kunststoff auf, das auch eine Seitenwand 2 bildet. In die eine dieser Seitenwände ist ein länglicher, zur Längserstreckung dieser Seitenwand paralleler und mittiger Sichtschlitz 3 eingebracht, in den eine Platte 4 aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff unlösbar eingesetzt ist.
Wie der Querschnitt gemäß Fig. 2 zeigt, weist die Platte 4 an ihrer Umfangskante eine umlaufende Nut auf, in welche das Material der Seitenwand 2 unter Bildung eines komplementären Steges eingreift. Diese Ausbildung kann in bekannter Weise durch Verbundguß hergestellt werden.
Bei dem in Fig. 2 dargestelltem Ausführungsbeispiel schließt die Innenoberfläche der Platte 4 sich bündig an die umgebende Oberfläche der Seitenwand 2 an. Im übrigen weist die Innenoberfläche der Seitenwand 2 Vorsprünge auf, welche den (nicht gezeigten) Zubringer führen.
Die Außenoberfläche der Platte 4 steht zwar ein wenig über die Außenoberfläche der Seitenwand 2 über, nicht aber über den gesamten Außenumriß des Magazins 1.

Claims (1)

  1. Stangenmagazin (1) aus undurchsichtigem Kunststoff, mit einem Sichtschlitz (3) in einer Seitenwand (2), der durch eine Platte (4) aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff ausgefüllt ist, die an der Innenoberfläche der Seitenwand (2) bündig abschließt, über die Außenoberfläche der Seitenwand (2) übersteht und an der Umfangskante mit einer umlaufenden Nut oder einem umlaufenden Steg versehen ist, die bzw. der in das Material der Seitenwand eingreift.
