Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung (10) zum Auftragen eines flüssigen oder pastösen Auftragsmediums (21) auf eine laufende Materialbahn (12), insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton, umfaßt ein Auftragswerk (18), sowie ein dem Auftragswerk (18) zugeordnetes erstes Gegenelement (14), um welches die Materialbahn (12) zumindest über einen Teil dessen Umfangs herumgeführt ist, und umfaßt ferner eine Egalisier- oder/und Dosier-Vorrichtung (22), sowie ein der Egalisier- oder/und Dosier-Vorrichtung (22) zugeordnetes zweites Gegenelement (16), um welches die Materialbahn (12) zumindest über einen Teil dessen Umfangs herumgeführt ist. Die Oberflächeneigenschaften des ersten Gegenelements (14) und des zweiten Gegenelements (16) sind derart aufeinander abgestimmt, daß die Materialbahn (12) unter dem Einfluß des Antriebs durch das zweite Gegenelement (16) eine Relativbewegung bezüglich des ersten Gegenelements (14) ausführen kann.
