Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gießform mit einer von Formsand umgebenen, zur Beaufschlagung mit Druckgas vorgesehenen Speiserkammer (5). Erfindungsgemäß ist wenigstens ein mit dem Druckgas in Kontakt kommender Wandteil der Speiserkammer (5) gegen Entweichen von Druckgas in den Formsand abgedichtet. Vorzugsweise ist die Speiserkammer (5) in der Art verbundener Gefäße an den Formhohlraum (2) der Gießform (1) angeschlossen und ein die Speiserkammer (5) nach oben hutartig begrenzendes Dichtelement (8) vorgesehen.
