Abstract

Um bei einem Verfahren zum Verlegen von zumindest an einer Fläche kaltselbstklebenden Bitumenabdichtungsbahnen, bei dem man mehrere derartige Bitumenabdichtungsbahnen (2) in einem Randbereich überlappend mit der kaltselbstklebenden Fläche auf eine abzudichtende Unterlage weisend auf diese auflegt und sie im überlappenden Randbereich durch gegenseitiges Andrücken miteinander verbindet, die Verbindung im Randbereich wahlweise entweder kaltselbstklebend oder durch Wärmebehandlung vornehmen zu können, wird vorgeschlagen, daß man Bitumenabdichtungsbahnen verwendet, deren kaltselbstklebende Fläche vor dem Auflegen der Bitumenabdichtungsbahn auf die Unterlage einseitig nur im Bereich eines Randstreifens (4) mit einer die kaltselbstklebenden Eigenschaften beseitigenden Abdeckung (5) versehen ist. Es wird außerdem eine derartige Bitumenabdichtungsbahn angegeben.
