- a hair clipper of the type mentioned is known with one pivoted for shaving and trimming in appropriate positions
- Cutting head consisting of a swivel mounted in a cam control Carrying element and a cutting comb with only one row of cutting teeth and Cutting blade, which is in contact with the by means of a spring leaf resting on the support element Cutting comb is held.
- a drive element protruding from the upper side of the housing transfers the drive movement to the cutting blade.
- the support element is one of one Spring element acted upon friction element arranged such that this to the system gets to the upper housing shell of the housing of the hair clipper to hold the shaving head in any pivoted position by means of an intended friction.
- the shaving head can only be adjusted by overcoming the specified frictional force feasible. This can become undesirable while using the device Changes in position lead, especially since frictional forces often occur during use of the hair clipper.
- a hair clipper of the type mentioned is known from US 2,741,026.
- the formed from a cutting comb and an oscillating cutting blade Cutting head is rigidly attached to the fork ends of the fork-shaped housing head.
- the arcuate design of the cutting comb with two rows of cutting teeth allows the hair clipper to be pivoted to 9 ° and the cutting comb attached to it, during the relatively wide distance of each row of cutting teeth of the cutting head used to the largest diameter the housing of the hair clipper to use the two rows of cutting teeth Should allow trimming
- GB - A - 2 294 230 is a hair clipper with one in any direction pivotally mounted cutting head known, the pivotability via a ball joint from the housing to the cutting head is guaranteed.

- This measure has one Reduction in power consumption as only the cutting blade works together is driven with the intended cutting comb, the just use should find.
- the assignment of two cutting blades to one cutting comb enables in advantageously a different design of the teeth of the cutting comb and the two cutting blades formed rows of cutting teeth, for example in the Way that the width of one row of cutting teeth is much smaller than the width of the other Row of cutting teeth is formed.
- the contour of one Row of cutting teeth for example, are formed straight as opposed to an arcuate one Contour opposite the second row of cutting teeth.
- the cutting head on a support element pivotally mounted on the housing about the pivot axis is attachable. This arrangement ensures a simple and quick to perform Coupling or decoupling of the cutting head from the pivotable support element of the Hair clipper, so that both an exchange of cutting heads and one Cleaning of removed cutting heads as well as a replacement of cutting heads is feasible.
- the support element as a housing shell is trained.
- the housing shell advantageously surrounds the on the Cutting comb attached components of the cutting head and thus protects against Damage.
- An embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the housing shell two opposite side walls of the housing is pivotally mounted.
- one end of the housing is fork-shaped, the housing shell pivotally mounted on the fork elements of the housing by means of pivot bearings is.
