Abstract

Bei einer Vorrichtung zur Umwandlung zirkular schwingender elektromagnetischer Strahlen in linear schwingende Strahlen, ist ein Depolarisator, dessen Oberfläche depolarisierende Elemente aufweist, in einem Schwingungsumformer drehbar zwischen einem Vertikalausgang für vertikal schwingende Strahlen und einem Horizontalausgang für horizontal schwingende Strahlen gelagert. Zwischen dem Horizontalausgang und dem Vertikalausgang ist eine Depolarisationsstellung für zirkular schwingende Strahlen vorgesehen, in der abhängig von der Drehrichtung des Depolarisators ein linksdrehende Schwingungen ausführender Strahl entweder dem Horizontal- oder dem Vertikalausgang und ein rechtsdrehende Schwingungen ausführender Strahl entweder dem Vertikal- oder dem Horizontalausgang zuleitbar ist.
