Definitions
- the invention relates to a gear pump for the metered conveying of colored paints according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a generic gear pump is known from EP 0 061 630, in which a flushing channel system is provided, in particular to remove paint residues from the storage gaps and to flush sealing gaps within the pump. This is done via a closable inlet introduced a detergent into a rinsing chamber, the led via flushing channels from the flushing chamber to the gaps to be flushed becomes. The detergent is then fed to a main rinse stream, which via the Pump inlet is fed in and discharged via the pump outlet.
- the paint residues from the bearing gaps are insufficient rinse. There are dead spaces in particular in the area of the drive shaft formed, the color particles are not rinsed out, however, by rotating the Drive shaft more or less to color mixing during operation to lead.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, possibilities for quick and thorough cleaning of the bearings in the gear pump.
- the rinsing chamber at the outer end of one of the bearings of the drive shaft and one second rinsing chamber at the outer end of the opposite bearing of the Drive shaft are formed. Both rinsing chambers are through at least one the rinsing channels connected to each other. Thus, the can inevitably be advantageous are adequately flushed at the ends of the bearing that form the bearing.
- the rinsing chambers preferably extend over the entire peripheral area the bearing gap, so that a uniform flow through the bearing gap is guaranteed.
- one of the rinsing chambers is an annular chamber between the pump housing and the drive shaft at the outer end of one of the bearing points of the drive shaft educated.
- the annular chamber is limited on the outside by a seal that at the same time seals the pump from the outside. So that arrives the detergent right up to the sealing of the external drive shaft, so that even paint residues are flushed out immediately before the sealing point can be.
- the drive shaft in the areas of the bearings and the gearwheel with essentially the same diameter executed.
- the flushing channel is a blind hole or a spiral groove educated.
- the helical groove is helical is particularly advantageous is introduced on the circumference of the drive shaft. It extends from outer end of the bearing point facing the rinsing chamber to the outer End of the opposite bearing point of the drive shaft facing the annular chamber. This is in addition to the connection of the two rinsing chambers simultaneously due to the rotation of the drive shaft evenly on the detergent Scope of the storage locations distributed.
- the detergent entering the annular chamber is then passed through a second partial groove on the circumference of the drive shaft in the opposite direction to the front of the gear.
- connection between the rinsing chambers it is also possible to make the connection between the rinsing chambers to carry out a blind hole.
- the flushing of the bearing gaps can be done to improve in that the detergent over a partial groove from the respective rinsing chamber is guided to the respective end face of the gear.
- the partial grooves are helical on the circumference of the drive shaft, and extend from the end of the bearing to the front of the gear.
- the flushing agent is also made even by rotating the drive shaft brought up to the pump housing.
- the longitudinal groove extends in the radial direction over a section of the sealing gap of the gear and is with a flushing channel, for example one on the circumference the helical groove introduced into the drive shaft.
- a flushing channel for example one on the circumference the helical groove introduced into the drive shaft.
- To discharge the Color residues from the bearing gaps and the sealing gaps are those on the front of the Gear wheels opposite housing plates with an outlet groove in the area a contact surface.
- the outlet grooves are through channels with the pump outlet connected.
- one of the flushing channels as an axial blind bore trained in the bearing shaft.
- the material hole is on the one hand through a hole with the rinsing chamber and on the other hand through a transverse bore with the bearing columns connected.
- the detergent passes directly into the storage gap the bearing shaft and the gear.
- an axial groove is provided in the idler gear on the inner circumference, which extends over the entire tooth width.
- the gear pump according to the invention is particularly characterized in that the detergent in the entire interior of the pump, especially on heavy inaccessible areas and intensive rinsing of the paint residues leads.
- the flushing process of the gear pump or the color change when painting is due to the inventive design of the flushing system in the Gear pump accomplished in a very short time.
