Abstract

Le guide d'onde d'entrée et un premier guide d'onde de sortie sont séparés d'une distance qui ne permet pas d'affecter les caractéristiques de transmission d'un signal optique se propageant du guide d'onde d'entrée au premier guide d'onde de sortie, même si le signal optique accuse différents indices de réfraction au moment où il se propage du premier guide d'onde d'entrée au premier guide d'onde de sortie. Le guide d'onde d'entrée et un second guide d'onde de sortie sont généralement placés du même côté de la tranchée de sorte qu'un signal optique passant du guide d'onde d'entrée au second guide d'onde de sortie ne traverse pas complètement la tranchée.
