Definitions
- the invention relates to an ergotherapeutic rocker for training according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the devices used for this purpose usually consist of a pivotally mounted board, on which the patient is on both sides of the pivot axis with both feet. By weight shifting an alternating pivotal movement of the board can be carried out, the rocker is deflected to each side to its stop and then a tilting movement takes place until it stops on the opposite side.
- DE-PS 22 75 71 a device for exercising gymnastic movements is also described.
- this device is a movably mounted on a ball joint plate.
- a tilting movement in a pivoting plane can be done with this device only after a complicated conversion (fixation in a tilting plane).
- different height stops are made by the fact that pins of different lengths are used under the dump board. Even with this device, therefore, one must resort to setting different maximum inclination angle in the sphere of action of the Balancierunterlage, which - as already mentioned - is associated with significant risks to the patient and therapist.
- a trim and gymnastic apparatus which is formed by two independently operable pedals. Even with this device, a training of the sense of balance is not possible because you can only stand on each pedal with one foot and therefore no weight transfer from one body half to the other body half is vorappelbar.
- height stops for the two pivotally mounted pedals are provided by wedges. This principle of limiting the maximum angle of inclination also has considerable deficits. For different increments of the maximum angle of inclination, a separate wedge under the pedal must be inserted and another removed. There is also the danger here that the wedges are easily lost.
- a device for body exercise especially for the physiotherapy is described. It aims the general processing of the body.
- Basic principle of the device is a freely rotatable swash plate with a substantially flat tread surface, a protruding central pin and a tread.
- a spindle which allows a height adjustment of the swash plate together with a support lever and nut pieces on the spindle.
- the height adjustment on the left and on the right side of the swash plate with respect to the height stops can be made simultaneously by the spindle.
- a training device for the rehabilitation of knees and ankles is known.
- a disc is disclosed, which is arranged resting on vertically movable pins and a centrally disposed ball.
- the adjustment of the tilt angle via actuators that control the plate according to a preprogrammed computer sequence in their inclination on the vertical movement of the pins.
- the present invention to provide a device for training the sense of equilibrium, in which one can adjust the maximum inclination angle of Balancierunterlage in a fast manner, exactly definable and reproducible, while the user stands with both feet on the rocker, without there is a danger to the patient or the therapist.
- the device according to the invention should be characterized by simple and reliable handling and by cost-effective production.
- the height stops on the left side and the right side of the balancing pad are separately adjustable. This makes it possible to set different high height stops on the left side and the right side of the rocker. Through this technique, the learning process in the rehabilitation of the sense of balance in promoted special way.
- a separate adjustment of the height stops on both sides also makes it possible, if necessary, to fix the balancing pad in a horizontal position on one side, so that the pad can only tilt in the other direction up to the corresponding height stop. This possibility also proves to be advantageous in the training of the organ of equilibrium in individual cases.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that the slides are guided on the device. That way they can not get lost either. It is conceivable, for example, that the slides are guided in such a way that they can only be moved back and forth in the displacement direction. It is also conceivable to connect the slides with each other. A connection of the slide with each other can be done side by side in a variety of ways both in a superposition and in an arrangement.
- a stop for the slide This stop may be outside the effective range of the balancing pad are located. However, it is also conceivable that the stop is within the range of effect.
- the tilting axis of the device can serve as a stop for the slides. It proves to be particularly advantageous if the stops for the individual slides are mounted on a base plate.
- the device is that all the individual parts of the device are connected to form a unit by a base plate or with each other.
- the tilting axis can be mounted on a base plate and the Balancierunterlage can in turn be connected to the tilting axis.
- a connection of the Balancier pad with the tilt axis also brings with it the advantage that the Balancier pad is limited in their freedom of movement so that they can only perform the desired pivotal movement, but can not slip sideways on the tilt axis.
- the balancing pad should be provided with a non-slip pad. This prevents the patient from slipping and injuring himself when the balancing pad is tilted.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 show a front view of the device according to the invention.
- the device consists of a Balancier pad 1, which is pivotally mounted with a tilting bar 2.
- the tilting bar 2 is attached in Figure 1 to the Balancier pad. This can be done for example by gluing or screwing.
- the tilting bar 2 is fixed between two guide elements 3 against slipping sideways. Between the two guide elements 3, the tilting bar 2 can perform a rotational movement.
- the tilting bar 2 consists in the described embodiment of a round timber. However, it is also conceivable to use only a semicircular rod or other geometric shapes for the tilting bar 2.
- the guide elements 3 are mounted on a base plate 4.
- the guide elements 3 in the described embodiment are two semicircular strips.
- the balancing pad 1 can also be rotatably supported by the tilting strip 2 being fastened to the base plate 4 and the two guide elements 3 being located on the underside of the balancing pad 1.
- the tilting strip 2 being fastened to the base plate 4 and the two guide elements 3 being located on the underside of the balancing pad 1.
- numerous variants are conceivable for the rotatable mounting of the balancing pad.
- the device according to the invention is used in such a way that the user places both feet on the left and right of the tilting axis 2 on the balancing pad 1.
- the balancing pad 1 is fixed in its horizontal position by means of slides 5. The slides are engaged to an inner stop 6 in the range of action of the rocker.
- the highest sliders up to the outer stops 7 are pushed out of the area of action of the balancing pad 1.
- the patient can hold the Balancier pad by suitable weight distribution to both halves of the tilt axis in a horizontal position.
- the outer and inner stops (6, 7) are formed in the embodiment as a semicircular strips. They are attached to the base plate 4.
- the slides used for height adjustment are guided in slide guide elements 8.
- FIG. 4 shows a plan view of the base plate 4.
- the two guide rails 3, between which the tilting axis 2 can rotate are shown in the middle.
- the two outer stops 7 are attached.
- the two inner stops 6 can be seen in Figure 4, which are also connected to the base plate 4.
- the slide 5, not shown in this figure can be moved between the outer stops 7 and the inner stops 6 and protrude depending on the position either in the sphere of action of the Balancier pad 1 or are outside the range of action of the Balancier pad 1.
- the two slide guide elements 8 are shown in a plan view.
- the slider guide elements 8 have a thickness of several centimeters, so that the most precise lateral guidance is ensured.
- FIG. 5 shows a slide guide strip 8 in a side view.
- the slider guide element 8 has staggered recesses 9 in their height.
- the recesses show that, although the slides 5 are made in a different height in the present embodiment, but all have the same width. However, this is not mandatory for the application of the invention.
- the fact that the recesses are designed for the slider 5 in a different height shows that the slide 5 are guided by the slider guide element 8 not only side, but are also bordered on its top and bottom.
- the slides 5 in the embodiment are each graduated in height in 0.5 cm increments. In the embodiment, ten different slides 5 are used from 0.5 cm to 5 cm in height. A graduation is made in each case in steps of 0.5 cm.
- FIG. 6 shows a view of the balancing pad 1 from below. It can be seen that at this Balancier pad 1, a round rod 2 is attached as a tilting bar.
- FIG. 7 shows a top view of the base plate of an alternative embodiment of the device according to the invention.
- two wooden strips 10 are additionally attached to the base plate 4. These two bars 10 join seamlessly with the slider guide elements 8. They have the same height as the two slide guide elements 8. The two strips 10 thus form with the two slide guide elements 8 a closed wooden frame.
- the balancing pad 1 is bordered not only laterally by the two slide guide elements 8 in this embodiment, but also on its front side and its back by the two strips 10th
- Balancier pad 1 In the embodiment shown in Figure 7, an alternative possibility of rotatable mounting for Balancier pad 1 is shown.
- the balancing pad 1 rests on two metal pins 11.
- the two metal pins 11 are fastened in the strips 10.
- the metal pins 11 partially protrude into the tilting strip 2.
- the tilting bar 2 is secured in this case against lifting up, the balancing pad 1 may be connected to the tilting bar 2 - be it rotatable or non-rotatable.
- the patient is no longer in danger of deflecting the balancing pad 1 to the front or the back of the device as a result of unfavorable weight transfer.
- the device according to the invention for training or for the rehabilitation of the sense of balance is characterized in that during use of the device completely safe for the patient and the therapist different height stops for Balancier pad can be adjusted quickly and accurately reproducible by means of a slide technology.
