Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Steckverbindung bestehend aus einem Stecker (1) zum Aufstecken auf einen Gegenstecker (2), wobei Kontaktelemente (3) des Steckers (1) in eine elektrische Leitverbindung mit Gegenkontaktelementen (4) des Gegensteckers (2) treten, mit einer die von einem Kern (K) getragenen Kontaktelemente (3) umgebene Hülse (7), die einen Schnappkragen (18) ausbildet zum Hinterfassen eines Rastwulstes (27, 28) des Gegensteckers (2), und mit einer in Steckrichtung verschieblichen Verriegelungsmuffe (5), die in einer Freigabestellung ein radiales Ausweichen des Schnappkragens (18) erlaubt und in einer Verriegelungsstellung verhindert, wobei der Kern mit einem Abstand (K) aus einem härteren Kunststoff als ein den Kern (K) umgebender Mantel (17) besteht und einen Umfangsunterbrechungen (8 und 9) aufweisenden Hülsenabschnitt (7) ausbildet, dem innenseitig materialeinheitlich mit dem Mantel (17) der Schnappkragen (18) aus weicherem Kunststoff angeformt ist.
