Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verpacken einer Schachtel mit verderblicher Ware, insbesondere einer Pralinenschachtel, mit den Verfahrensschritten Zurverfügungstellen einer Schachtel mit einem Bodenteil 4, der einen Boden 8 und eine umlaufende Wand aufweist, und einem Deckelteil 6, der eine Decke 12 und einen umlaufenden, die Wand des Bodenteils 8 umgebenden Kragen 14 aufweist, Zurverfügungstellen einer Folie 32, Erzeugen mindestens einer Lochreihe 54 in der Folie, Einbringen der Schachtel 2 in die Folie 32 und Schrumpfen der Folie 32. Erfindungsgemäß wird die Länge der Lochreihe 54 derart gewählt und die Schachtel 2 derart in die Folie 32 eingebracht, daß sich die mindestens eine Lochreihe 54 in der Folie lediglich über die Decke 12 und/oder den Boden 8 der Schachtel 2 erstreckt. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens sowie eine durch das Verfahren bzw. die Vorrichtung hergestellte verpackte Schachtel. Die erfindungsgemäß verpackte Schachtel 2 bietet einen sicheren Schutz gegen den Befall der Ware durch Schädlingslarven.
