  • An apparatus for making a food product according to claims 1-5 comprises a conveyor for sequentially feeding tetragonally-shaped molds, each of said tetragonally-shaped molds having a pair of opposing side plates and removable end plates disposed across the opposing side plates at the ends of the molds, an apparatus for supplying an underlying sheet of dough to cover the side and bottom surfaces of the molds, an apparatus for supplying a sheet of dough onto the underlying sheet of dough, means for baking the sheets of dough that fill the molds, means for taking out the molds from the conveyor, means for taking the baked sheets of dough from the molds, and a cutter to cut the baked sheets of dough into pieces.
  • Fig. 1 shows a mold 10. It has two pairs of opposite side plates 11a and 11b and a bottom plate. The two pairs of opposite side plates 11a and 11b are used as side frames. As in Fig. 2, one pair of the opposite plates 11a has a plurality of curved plates (or arced plates). At the other pair of the opposite sides of the mold, the other pair of the opposite plates 11b is located. The ends of each side plate 11b are engaged with engaging portions 11c formed at the ends of the side plates 11a.
  • Fig. 3 shows a top view of a conveyor 20. Opposite guide plates 21 are located above it and along the direction of its length. The mold 10 is conveyed along the guide plates 21.

  • Each generally triangularly-shaped food dough has a tip that is covered by the underlying sheet of food dough, unlike the triangularly-shaped food dough that is made by the conventional method.
  • the generally triangularly-shaped food dough made by this embodiment can be easily treated, in comparison with the conventional food dough. Also, it is difficult to break the generally triangularly-shaped food dough made by this embodiment.
  • the first embodiment of the mold in Fig. 5 is used to make a basically rectangularly-shaped food dough. That mold has two sides, comprising a plurality of arced plates that are oppositely arranged. However, a mold shaped as a parallelogram may be used.

In this embodiment two opposing side plates 11a, comprising a plurality of arced plates, are slightly shifted, urtlike the first embodiment. This embodiment allows tarts with the shape of triangles to be obtained, in comparison with the first embodiment.
  • a plurality of the apparatuses for supplying food dough to the molds are used to form multi-layered food dough in the molds.
  • a single apparatus that can supply multi-layered food dough to the molds may also be used.
  • food dough for a tart is formed as a multi-layered food dough.
  • these embodiments can be used for food dough such as a pie or pizza that comprises a single layer.
  • disc-like sheets of dough are cut out from a sheet of dough. Then, some of the disc-like sheets of dough are layered to make tarts.
  • this invention uses continuous sheets of dough so that tarts can be sequentially made.
  • each disc-like sheet is radially cut at given angles. At the center of the disc-like sheet the disc-like sheet is cut many times. Thus, the tips of the pieces that are formed at the center of the disc-like sheet tend to be readily broken.
  • this invention allows food dough in the mold to be cut in a zigzag pattern. Thus, according to this invention the tips of the pieces tend not to be easily broken.

Claims (6)

  1. Procédé de fabrication d'un produit alimentaire qui comprend les étapes consistant à remplir un moule de forme tétragonale avec une pâte alimentaire, ledit moule de forme tétragonale ayant une paire de plaques latérales opposées, et des plaques extrêmes amovibles disposées entre les plaques latérales opposées aux extrémités du moule,
    à introduire lesdites plaques extrêmes dans le moule et à couper ainsi la pâte,
    à faire cuire la pâte alimentaire qui remplit le moule de forme tétragonale,
    à sortir la pâte alimentaire du moule, et
    à couper et diviser la pâte alimentaire suivant un motif en zigzag dans des positions données en morceaux qui sont de forme généralement triangulaire.
  2. Procédé de fabrication d'un produit alimentaire selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ledit moule de forme tétragonale est transféré le long d'un transporteur, et le moule est alimenté en pâte alimentaire avec un appareil qui est placé au-dessus du transporteur.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, dans lequel le moule est un parallélogramme.
  4. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1, 2 et 3 dans lequel le moule comporte une paire de plaques latérales opposées, chaque plaque latérale comprenant plusieurs plaques en forme d'arc qui sont reliées entre elles.
  5. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1, 2 et 3, dans lequel la pâte alimentaire qui alimente le moule est une pâte alimentaire en couches multiples.
  6. Appareil pour la fabrication d'un produit alimentaire par l'exécution du procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, comportant :
    un transporteur destiné à faire avancer séquentiellement des moules de forme tétragonale, chacun desdits moules de forme tétragonale ayant une paire de plaques latérales opposées et des plaques extrêmes amovibles disposées entre les plaques latérales opposées aux extrémités des moules,
    un appareil pour l'alimentation en une feuille sous-jacente de pâte afin de recouvrir les surfaces des côtés et du fond des moules,
    un appareil destiné à amener une feuille de pâte sur la feuille de pâte sous-jacente,
    des moyens destinés à faire cuire les feuilles de pâte qui remplissent les moules,
    des moyens destinés à enlever les moules du transporteur,
    des moyens destinés à sortir les feuilles de pâte cuites des moules, et
    un dispositif de coupe destiné à couper les feuilles de pâte cuites en morceaux.
