Claims (12)

  1. Tintenbehälter, aufweisend ein Gehäuse (10) mit einer vorderen Wand (44) und einen Beutel (38), der in dem Gehäuse (10) aufgenommen ist und mit einer Kupplung (42) verbunden ist, wobei das Gehäuse (10) eine erste Schale (12) und eine zweite, mit der ersten Schale (12) verschweißte Schale (14) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vordere Wand (44) mit der besagten Kupplung (42) gebildet ist, welche die vordere Wand (44) durchdringt, daß die erste Schale (12) die besagte vordere Wand (44) umfaßt, und daß die erste Schale (12) ein offenes, der vorderen Wand (44) gegenüberliegendes Ende hat.
  2. Tintenbehälter nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Gehäuse (10) eine kastenförmige Konfiguration hat und die ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14) an einer Naht (16) zusammengefügt sind, welche durch einen mittleren Abschnitt von seitlichen Wänden (18) des Gehäuses in einer Ebene verläuft, die im wesentlichen parallel zu der vorderen Wand (44) ist.
  3. Tintenbehälter nach Anspruch 2, bei dem jede der ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14) einen Flansch (20) hat, der sich entlang der besagten Naht (16) erstreckt.
  4. Tintenbehälter nach Anspruch 3, bei dem die ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14) an den Flanschen (20) punktgeschweißt sind.
  5. Tintenbehälter nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, bei dem die zweite Schale (14) einen dachförmigen oberen Abschnitt (30) hat, der durch eine aufwärts geneigte Wand (32), welche einstückig mit der zweiten Schale (14) gebildet ist, und eine abwärts geneigte Wand (34) begrenzt wird, welche einstückig mit der ersten Schale (12) gebildet ist und von einem hinteren Ende einer oberen Wand derselben vorsteht.
  6. Tintenbehälter nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, bei dem die erste Schale (12) eine innere Wand (46) hat, die von der oberen Wand in das Innere des Gehäuses herab vorsteht und in einer in Längsrichtung verlaufenden Mittelebene des Gehäuses positioniert ist.
  7. Tintenbehälter nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, bei dem die ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14) spritzgeformte Teile sind.
  8. Tintenstrahldrucker, aufweisend einen Tintenbehälter nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 7.
  9. Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Tintenbehälters, der ein Gehäuse (10) mit einer vorderen Wand (44) und einen in dem besagten Gehäuse aufgenommenen Beutel (38) aufweist, umfassend die Schritte:
    - Formen einer ersten Schale (12) und einer zweiten Schale (14); und
    - Zusammenschweißen der ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14),
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in dem Schritt des Formens der ersten Schale (12) und der zweiten Schale (14) die erste Schale (12) mit einer Kupplung (42) in der besagten vorderen Wand (44) und mit einem der vorderen Wand gegenüberliegendem offenen Ende gebildet wird, wobei die Kupplung (42) die vordere Wand (44) durchdringt;
    weiter gekennzeichnet durch die Schritte:
    - Verbinden des Beutels (38) mit der Kupplung (42), so daß ein hinterer Abschnitt des Beutels aus dem offenen Ende der ersten Schale (12) vorsteht; und
    - Aufbringen der zweiten Schale (14) über den vorstehenden Abschnitt des Beutels (38);
    bevor die ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14) zusammengeschweißt werden.
  10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, bei dem die ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14) mittels Ultraschallschweißen zusammengeschweißt werden.
  11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, bei dem die ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14) mittels Punktschweißen zusammengeschweißt werden.
  12. Verfahren zum Befüllen eines Tintenbeutels (38) in einem Gehäuse (10), bei dem der Beutel (38) in dem Gehäuse (10) aufgenommen ist, welches eine vordere Wand (44) hat, die mit einer mit dem Beutel (38) verbundenen Kupplung (42) gebildet ist, wobei die Kupplung (42) die vordere Wand (44) durchdringt, wobei das Gehäuse weiter eine erste Schale (12), die die besagte vordere Wand (44) umfaßt, und eine zweite Schale (14) aufweist, die mit der ersten Schale (12) in einer kastenförmigen Konfiguration verschweißt ist, und die Schalen (12, 14) an einer Naht (16) zusammengefügt sind, die durch einen mittleren Abschnitt der seitlichen Wände (18) des Gehäuses in einer Ebene verläuft, die im wesentlichen parallel zu der vorderen Wand (44) ist, wobei jede der ersten und zweiten Schalen (12, 14) wenigstens einen Flansch (20) hat, der sich entlang der besagten Naht (16) erstreckt, und wobei die Schalen (12, 14) an diesen Flanschen punktgeschweißt sind, und wobei Tinte von außerhalb des Behälters durch die Kupplung (42) in den Beutel (38) eingeführt wird und Luft aus dem Inneren des Gehäuses (10) durch die Naht (16) herausgedrückt wird, wodurch der Luftdruck innerhalb des Gehäuses (10) außerhalb des Beutels (38) im Gleichgewicht mit dem Luftdruck außerhalb des Gehäuses gehalten wird.
